Steps Students’ activities Teacher’s activities 设计思路
1 Students listen and sing to the music. Warming-up:Play the tape for the students to listen and sing the song “What’s this ” 学唱儿歌,活跃课堂气氛为其一。其二,为学生学习名词复数提供晋级的阶梯。
2 Students should say:This/That is a pen.These/Those are pens. Show students some pictures with singular form& plural forms. 通过图片呈现语言难点these, those普通名词加s的复数形式做铺垫,自然过度到后面人物介绍.
3 Students guess “who are they ”Is this/ that her mother Yes,she is./No,she isn’t.Are these/those her parents Yes,they are./No,they aren’t. Show students a photo of Lucy’ family members. Ask them to guess Who are they 通过猜人物游戏,激发学生兴趣,尤其是家庭成员来自生活,易引起共鸣.
4 Students learn a chant:Say hello to my family Make sure students learn a chant:Say hello to my family 通过此活动,学生更易巩固掌握单词,而且不感觉枯燥.
5 Students listen to the tape.Circle the members in activity 1a. Match the names with the people in the picture. Work on 2b. Ask Ss to point to the family members in 1a & name each one. Get Ss to listen to the tape and circle the members.Play the recording. Work on 2a & 2b. Ask Ss to match the names with the people. 此活动能提高学生听力能力
6 Students talk about Dave’s family with their partners according to the picture Ask Ss to talk about Dave’s family members in pairs . 利用目标语言训练并提高学生口语表达能力。
7 Students work in groups. Fill in the chart. Give Ss a task. Ask & Write down the information about others’ family members. 通过介绍伙伴的家庭成员,以达到检查学生对本课词汇和句型掌握情况的目的。同时也体现了学生小组合作的过程。
8 Homework:Introduce your uncle’s or aunt’s family 在用书面形式巩固本课学习成果的同时,要求学生能举一反三,做适当的课外探研.
