VI. Teaching Procedures Section A
Step I
All the students sing the “ABC” song together. As the students sing the song, you put up the wall chart with the 26 letters on it. And lead the students to review the letters.
Show the key words on Page 1 on the screen using a computer .Read the words one by one, over and over again until the students read them accurately
Step II 1a
Hold up your book. Point to an object in the picture( e.g a clock) Ask: What’s this
Help them to answer :
It’s a clock.(Write the “clock” on the blackbaord ).
Do it like this for the other things. And ask them to write down
the words in the blank lines.
Step III. 1b
Point out the boxes where students will write a number for teach conversation. Play the tape twice. The first time ,students just listen, the second time ,students listen and write a number in the box next to each conversation.
Step IV 1c
Play the tape for the students to listen and repeat. Students practice the conversations in pairs in Activity 1b.Then ask some pairs to act out the dialogues in the class. Help them if they need.
Step V Summary
In this class, we’ve learned the key vocabularies on Page 1 ,how to greet people and how to introduce yourself. And we’ve also trained the students’ listening skill and communicative competence.
Step VI Homework
1. After class, greet people with the sentences we’ve learned in this class.
2. Make a dialogue with your partner, and write it down on your exercise book.
3. Remember all the new words and prepare to have a dictation.

Step VIII.课后反思
本课主要是学习日常生活用语介绍自己(My mane is Gina./I’m Gina.)或(What’s your name )他人及称呼他人(Nice to meet you.)。由于这些句子较为简单且与学生生活贴近,易于学生掌握,学生学习兴趣浓厚,积极性高,主动性强,课堂气氛活跃,教学效果良好,课堂任务完成顺利。学生口语表达交好,但是,在单词拼写上,他们还存在不足,部分学生出现句子抄写错误,这将不利于他们的日后学习。因此,日后学习中,将注重培养他们的拼写能力,为综合运用英语打下基础。
