唐诗英译English Translation of Poems Coming Home （by He Zhizhang） 回乡偶书 贺知章I left home young and not till old do I come back, 小少离家老大回，
My accent is unchanged, my hair no longer black. 乡音无改鬓毛摧。
The children don’t know me, whom I meet on the way, 儿童相见不相识，
"Where do you come from, reverend sir " they smile and say. 笑问客从何处来？To Wang Lun Li Bai 赠 汪 伦 李 白 I’m on board; We’re about to sail, 李 白 乘 舟 将 欲 行，
When there’s stamping and singing on shore; 忽 闻 岸 上 踏 歌 声 。
Peach Blossom Pool is a thousand feet deep, 桃 花 潭 水 深 千 尺 ，
Yet not so deep,Wang Lun,as your love for me. 不 及 汪 伦 送 我 情 。Thoughts in the Silent Night Li Bai 静 夜 思 李 白 Beside my bed a pool of light--- 床 前 明 月 光 ，
Is it hoarfrost on the ground 疑 是 地 上 霜 。
I lift my eyes and see the moon, 举 头 望 明 月 ，
I bend my head and think of home. 低 头 思 故 乡 。The Deer Enclosure Wang Wei 鹿 柴 王 维 Empty the hills,no man in sight, 空 山 不 见 人 ，
Yet voices echo here; 但 闻 人 语 响 。
Deep in the woods slanting sunlight, 返 景 入 深 林 ，
Falls on the jade-green moss. 复 照 青 苔 上 。In the Rainy Season of Spring Du Mu 清 明 杜 牧It drizzles endlessly during the rainy season in spring, 清明时节雨纷纷，
Travelers along the road look gloomy and miserable. 路上行人欲断魂。
When I ask a shepherd boy where I can find a tavern, 借问酒家何处有，
He points at a distant hamlet nestling amidst apricot blossoms. 牧童遥指杏花村。"Thinking of You" sushiWhen will the moon be clear and bright
With a cup of wine in my hand, I ask the blue sky.
I don't know what season it would be in the heavens on this night.
I'd like to ride the wind to fly home.
Yet I fear the crystal and jade mansions are much too high and cold for me.
Dancing with my moon-lit shadow
It does not seem like the human world
The moon rounds the red mansion Stoops to silk-pad doors
Shines upon the sleepless Bearing no grudge
Why does the moon tend to be full when people are apart
People may have sorrow or joy, be near or far apart
The moon may be dim or bright, wax or wane
This has been going on since the beginning of time
May we all be blessed with longevity Though far apart, we are still able to share the beauty of the moon together.

The ancient dukedoms are everywhere green, 齐鲁青未了
Inspired and stirred by the breath of creation, 造化锺神秀
With the Twin Forces balancing day and night. 阴阳割昏晓
I bare my breast toward opening clouds, 汤胸生层云
I strain my sight after birds flying home. 决眦入归鸟
When shall I reach the top and hold 会当凌绝顶
All mountains in a single glance 一览众山小 TO ONE UNNAMED III 李商隐 无题 Time was long before I met her, but is longer since we parted, 相见时难别亦难
And the east wind has arisen and a hundred flowers are gone, 东风无力百花残
And the silk-worms of spring will weave until they die 春蚕到死丝方尽
And every night the candles will weep their wicks away. 蜡炬成灰泪始乾
Mornings in her mirror she sees her hair-cloud changing, 晓镜但愁云鬓改
Yet she dares the chill of moonlight with her evening song. 夜吟应觉月光寒
It is not so very far to her Enchanted Mountain 蓬莱此去无多路
O blue-birds, be listening!-Bring me what she says! 青鸟殷勤为探看THE YELLOW CRANE TERRACE 黄鹤楼 崔颢Where long ago a yellow crane bore a sage to heaven, 昔人已乘黄鹤去
Nothing is left now but the Yellow Crane Terrace. 此地空馀黄鹤楼
The yellow crane never revisited earth, 黄鹤一去不复返
And white clouds are flying without him for ever. 白云千载空悠悠
Every tree in Hanyang becomes clear in the water, 晴川历历汉阳树
And Parrot Island is a nest of sweet grasses; 芳草萋萋鹦鹉洲
But I look toward home, and twilight grows dark 日暮乡关何处是
With a mist of grief on the river waves. 烟波江上使人愁LOOKING AT THE MOON AND THINKING OF ONE FAR AWAY 望月怀远 九龄The moon, grown full now over the sea, 海上生明月
Brightening the whole of heaven, 天涯共此时
Brings to separated hearts 情人怨遥夜
The long thoughtfulness of night.... 竟夕起相思
It is no darker though I blow out my candle. 灭烛怜光满
It is no warmer though I put on my coat. 披衣觉露滋
So I leave my message with the moon 不堪盈手赠
And turn to my bed, hoping for dreams 还寝梦佳期FAREWELL TO VICE-PREFECT DU SETTING OUT FOR HIS OFFICIAL POST IN SHU By this wall that surrounds the three Qin districts,
Through a mist that makes five rivers one,
We bid each other a sad farewell,
We two officials going opposite ways....
And yet, while China holds our friendship,
And heaven remains our neighbourhood,
Why should you linger at the fork of the road,
Wiping your eyes like a heart-broken child 送杜少府之任蜀州 王勃 城阙辅三秦
风烟望五津
与君离别意
同是宦游人
海内存知己
天涯若比邻
无为在歧路
