Ask Ss to share their assignments and act the conversations out in front of the class.
Step 2: Presentation
T: Sonia is really busy this week. Now she receives an e-mail from her friend Henry, inviting her to visit him. Please read this e-mail and complete the calendar for Sonia.(Section B 3a)
Ss:On Monday evening, Sonia is going to her cousin’s birthday party. On Tuesday, she has to go to the dentist. On Wednesday, she has tennis training with the school team. On Thursday, she has to study for her chemistry test. And on Friday evening,sh’s going to the movies with some friends.
T:Henry is inviting Tony now. Can Tony go to visit Henry Let’s look at the e-mail and finish it. Pay attention to the use of “I’m doing”and “I have to…”(Section B 3b)
Correct the answers and make sure that most of the Ss get the correct answers.
T:Your friend sent you an e-mail to him and tell him why you can’t visit him next week.
Ask some Ss to read their e-mails to the class.
