Pre-task 课前让学生在一张制作精美的纸上，用英文写出一道菜的制作过程，同时画出草图，形成菜谱。小组制定成册，看哪个组做得最好。然后将每个组的成果汇集起来，挂在班级里供大家欣赏。

每一个学生都在家做好一道菜，然后带到班级中让大家一起品尝。（可以借用班会课，既让同学们学到了知识，也尝到自己做的食品，尝到了劳动的美。同时也培养了大家动手的能力。）
5．备课反思或体会
本单元是以做菜为话题的。这对学生来说，既是熟悉的，又是陌生的。因为现在独生子女是父母家长手中的宝，都受到很好的呵护，难得会动厨房。因此，这是一个学生与家长沟通的好桥梁，同时也可以教育学生自己做的菜即使味差点也很美。培养学生独立劳作的能力和意识。但是本单元选用的都是西餐的制作除了SELF-CHECK中的北京烤鸭，对学生来说都是比较陌生的，因此，在教了这些食物的制作过程后，尽量让学生从身边的事物着手去描述。本单元的备课仅做参考，还需要进一步的修改。
