教学目标:
1. 能听、说、读、写动词词组:wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed, and do the dishes.
2. 能听、说、认读词组“put away the clothes”和句子“Can you do housework Yes, I can.”
3. 能够说唱Let’s chant,巩固所学词组。
4. 培养学生养成乐于助人的习惯和意识。
教学重难点:
1. 教学重点:掌握有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。
2. 教学难点:掌握四个四会动词词组,注意指导clothes的发音及拼写。
课前准备
1. 课件
2. 教学简笔画。
3. 活动调查表和机器人头像10个。
教学设计
I. Warm-up
Step 1 T: Can you jump/ sing/ dance
Can you act like a monkey/ robot
(模仿机器人的动作和发音,让学生动起来。并为后面的活动开展奠定了基础。)
Step 2 (1)T: I need a robot working at school. Can you sweep the floor/ clean the window/ empty the trash
Ss: Yes, I can. Sweep the floor/…
(2)T: I need a robot working in a park. Can you water the flowers/ trees.
Flowers and trees, they are plants.
Water the plants.
(模仿机器人的声音和动作,巩固了旧知,也活跃了气氛。并且点到了plants这个会在后面的chant中出现的新单词。)
II. Presentation
Step 1.(A telephone call)
A: Sorry. Your housekeeper is ill. She can’t go to your house. You must do housework yourself.
B: I see. Bye.
T: My housekeeper is ill. What can I do
I need to do housework myself. Let’s go to my house. (出现自己的家,简笔画)It’s a mess.
Step 2.(Point to the bed)
T: What can I do
Ss: make the bed.
1. Read: Make, make, make the bed.
2. Chant: I can make the bed. Can you make the bed
Step 3. (Point to the wardrobe and the clothes)
T: I can make the bed. What else can I do
Look at these, they are clothes (引导学生说) They are clean. What can I do
Ss: Put away the clothes.
1. read: Put, put away the clothes.
2. Chant: (Point to the other things. Books, pencils, erasers …)
3. Ask and answer: Can you put away the … Ss: Yes, I can.
Step 4. (Point to the dirty clothes near the washing machine.)
Here are clothes. Can I put away these clothes
Ss: No, you can’t.
T: Why
Ss: They are dirty.
T: What can I do
Ss: wash the clothes.
1. read: clothes, clothes, wash, wash, wash
2. make chant: Sock, sock, wash, wash, wash.
3. ask and answer: Can you wash the socks/ shoes/ coat?…Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.
Step 5. (look at the watch)
T: They are all clean now. It’s time for dinner. What would you like for dinner
Ss: I’d like ….
T: They’re sound good. But where can I put them
(Point to the table, and there are some dishes on it.)
Ss: on the table.
T: I should set the table first.
1. Pronunciation: bed---seven---let---set.
2. Read: set, set, set the table.
3. show the dishes.: knife, fork, spoon, put the … on the table
In China, we can put the chopsticks on the table.
They are all dishes. There are so many guests here. I need a big table and many dishes. Let’s go to the kitchen.
Step 6. (point to a lot of dirty dishes in the kitchen)
T: Oh, sorry ,there are so many dirty dishes. Let’s do the dishes quickly.
1. read: /i/ fish, /i/ dish.
2. T—S: Can you do the dishes Yes, I can./ No, I can’t .
3. S1-S2.
Step 7. Conclusion
Dialogue: A: Can you do housework
B: Yes, I can.
A: What can you do
B: I can ….
(新授环节注意了这些词汇的扩充和句型的渗透。)
III Practice
Activity 1: T: There are so much housework in my house. But I must go to work every. I need robot at home. Can you help me to choose a helpful robot.
(分小组进行,每个小组一个学生扮演机器人,每个机器人头像后面都有功能。其他组员通过提问,获取机器人的功能。并且选出一个比较能干的机器人。)
(1) 示范:T:Can you ……
Robot: Yes, I can./ No, I can’t(没有这个功能的用否定形式。教师在示范的时候可以适当辅助。)
(1) 活动总结:Robot __(机器人编号) can ____________________.
拓展: Can Robot __ set the table
Yes, it can./ No, it can’t.
(2) 选出合适的一个机器人。
注:按一下机器人的肩膀,发出嘟嘟的声音,表示机器人已经启动,可以说话和行动了。这个动作很受学生的欢迎。

反思:这个活动的反馈形式可以采取小组表演的形式,这样参与的面会扩大、而且形式更加活泼。当然,也可以增加询问机器人价格的环节,这样更加实用化。
Activity 2: Let’s chant.
活动意图:模仿机器人的腔调和动作。最后因为家务太繁重了,机器人都逃跑了。
Activity 3: Make a small survey. “Who is the most helpful in the group ”
T: Where is the robot It ran away. We should do housework ourselves. Let’s make a survey. Who’s the most helpful in our group
(1) Show: how to make the survey
(2) Make a report: 3 students can set the table. ….
Activity 4: Make a big Survey.: “Is your family helpful ”
活动意图:通过调查,拓展语言。并且让孩子懂得父母的辛劳。
使用语言:My father/ mother/ can ________________________.
I can _____________________________.
________ can _____________________.
We are helpful!
