6. 形式宾语,代表不定式，动名词或从句。
Eg. It is a pity that you didn’t read the book.

7. 用来改变句子结构，使句子的某一成分得到强调。
Eg. It was in 1975 that I worked in the factory.
Eg. It was in Shanghai that I saw the exhibition.
