Topic: The numbers
Teaching aim: Revise the numbers, include number、date、time and so on.
Teaching procedures:
Step1. Lead in
Let’s play a game together. Do as I tell you: First stretch your right hand. Put it in your pocket. Grasp as much as you can in your pocket. Now take your hand out! Show your neighbour what is in your hand. There are a lot of money in your hand. How much pocket money do you have
What are we talking
Step2. Revise
We are talking about numbers in this class.
Where do we usually use the numbers in our daily life
Get some examples from the students.
Divide the numbers into 3 parts: Number House、Date House、 Time House.
Part1. Number House
Revise the numbers with students.
Get the students to read the numbers as quickly as possible.
What number do Chinese like best Why
Do you like it What is your favourite number
What is your lucky number And tell the reason.
Do you know the ordinal number
Revise the ordinal numbers with students.
Part2. Date House.
Do you know how many children does Mr.Year have
Have students to revise the months in the year.
Get students to read the dates as quickly as possible
And revise when is the holiday.
National Day, May Day, Tree Planting Day, April Fools” Day, New Year”s Day, Women’s Day, Children’s Day, Christmas Day.

Part3. Time House
Read the time in two different ways.
