I. Teaching aims:

Excuse me. homework, home, eat, Internet, write, shout, newspaper, look for.
2. Enable Ss to speak out in English.

1. Master new words well.
2. Encourage the Ss to speak in English in class.
III. Teaching procedures:
1. Revision
1) With the pictures, revise the words learnt in the second period.
2) Ask and answer. (T---Ss)
T: Can you have an ice cream in the classroom ---- Ss: No, we can’t.
T: Can I listen to music in the library ----Ss: No, you can’t.
T: Can you play football on the playground ----Ss: Yes, we can.
2. Presentation
1) With the pictures, present the following new words:
write, newspaper, shout, eat
2) Say, “Excuse me, is this your English book ”
3) T: Do you have a computer
S1,2: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
T: What can we do with the computer
Help Ss to answer,
Ss: Play games, surf on the Internet and so on.
T: What can we do on the Internet
Help Ss to answer,
Ss: We can look for things on the Internet.
4) Say, “After school, you should do your homework first. (Explain this sentence in Chinese, and then present “homework”. Then teach “home” and “work”.)
Read the new words several times.
3. Listen and speak
1) Listen to the tape and repeat.
2) Ss practice in pairs.
3) Ask some students to ask and answer.
4. Homework
1) Recite the new words.
2) Make dialogues in pairs and act out next period.
