为了儿童：要考虑到玩具的安全。其他sake 的习语还有:
for God’s /goodness’/ Heaven’s /pity’s sake, 用作感叹词，可置于表示命令或要求
的词语之前或之后，或表示恼怒。
e.g. For God’s sake, stop that whining.
看在上帝的面上，别号叫了！2 .accomplish ：succeed in doing sth, achieve
表示“完成（某事物），实现”
① accomplish one’s aim, accomplish a task
达到目的，完成任务
e.g. A lazy man would never accomplish anything.
懒惰的人永远一事无成。
If you are waiting on a team member to accomplish a task and he is behind, it is your responsibility to help him in any way you can.
如果团队的一名成员在完成你们共同的任务时落后了，尽你所能帮助他是你该做的。
② accomplished 为accomplish 的形容词，表示
“有造诣的，有教养的（skilled）”。
e.g. an accomplished pianist 钢琴高手
③ 它的名词形式为 accomplishment,
表示“成就成绩”。
3. expectation
① expectation= confident feelings (about sth), 即“(对某事物)有信心的指望”，表示此意时通常作复数。复数形式还可表示“前程”。
e.g. His parents have great expectations for his future.
他父母对他的前途深寄厚望。
② 有关expectation 的习语有：
beyond (all) expectation (s) 出乎意料（地）
against / contrary to (all) expectation (s)
和预料的相反
come up to one’s expectation (s)
达到期望（的水平）等等。
e.g. The holiday was beyond all expectations.
假期过的比预期的要好得多。
We thought Mary would pass and John would fail, but contrary to expectation it was the other way around.我们原以为玛丽会通过而约瀚会失败，结果却正好相反。
His film performance didn’t come to expectation.他在影片中的演出有负众望。 4.attach
① attach sth）to (sth) = connect sth with sth与某事相关联。
e.g. No blame attaches to the driver of the lorry for the accident.
这次事故的责任不在卡车司机。

e.g. This school is attached to Beijing University.

① keep an eye on固定用法，意为“留心看着，照料某人（某事物）”（make sure that
sb/sth is safe; look after sb/sth）
e.g. I don’t know what would happen if we weren’t here to keep an eye on you.
如果我们不在这儿照料着你，我都不知道会发生什么。
You should keep an eye on the slightest changes in the patient while the doctor is away.
医生不在时，你应该留心病人任何细微的变化。
② 比较keep an eye on 与keep an eye open/out (for sb/sth)
keep an eye open/out (for sb/sth) 意为“留心或注意某人/某事物”（ look out for.）
e.g. Keep an eye out for young trouble makers.
小心制造麻烦的年轻人。
While you are in Hanoi, keep an eye out for the turtles.
当你在河内时，留心那些海龟。 7.take into account = take account of sth意为“把…考虑进去（consider sth）。”相当于take into consideration.
e.g. When judging his performance , don’t take his age into account.
评定他的表现时，不必考虑他的年龄。
When you are planning a career, you should take your education, skills and interests into account.当你择业时，你应当把你的受教育程度，技能和兴趣考虑进去。
In judging our work you should take into account / consideration the fact that we have been very? busy recently．
