T: Nice to see you again. Today we’ll go to a new topic. First let’s look at the verbs on the cards. Do you know these words

T: OK! Tell me the past participles of these words. Begin with Card 1.S1, can you tell me the past participle of “speak”
S1: Yes. It’s “spoken”.
T: Can you spell it, please

Step 5 Project 第五步 综合探究活动(时间:8分钟)
1. 学生复习动词的过去分词broken, chosen, cut, done, eaten, drunk, caught, bitten, found, woken, sent, spoken, told等等。利用这些动作在学生脑海中造成的印象,鼓励他们把这些动词与Topic list(如下图所示)的某一题目结合起来进行讨论、编剧、表演,要求活动中出现尽量多的表达被动意义的动作或情节,最后推举小组中一位同学,用尽量多的被动语态句子对表演内容进行讲述。

学生表演:学生A丢了手表,学生B和C帮他寻找并且找到,最后其中的一位同学对故事进行描述:

playground by Li Mei. My watch is sent to me now.
二组的事件主题:A Car Accident
学生表演:行人被车撞倒,被送入医院,肇事者被送进警局。
二组选派的同学以新闻的形式报道:
An elder man is hit by a taxi when he is crossing the street. The old man is sent to hospital immediately by
two students. The taxi driver is taken to the police station for questioning.

最后根据评价标准,选出各奖项获得者。
2. 活动单位:8~10人的小组。
3. 活动形式:头脑风暴。每小组任选一个题目,根据题目和所给出的动词表,联想日常生活中出现的有关动作、情形、故事,采用头脑风暴的形式,共同设计出一个能使用最多动词被动语态的故事片断或情节,并根据情节进行表演。
4. 评奖:在学生表演的基础上,评选出最佳台词奖、最佳情节设计奖,最生动表演奖和最清晰讲述奖。
5. Homework:
(1) ①让学生通过查阅资料,询问同伴,求助于父母,来收集不同国家的母语。
②将收集到的材料以书面的形式做完整的记录。
③将准备的材料在第二天上课的时候与同学们相互交流。
(2) 写一篇日记:
描述一天中发生的事情,尽量多地运用被动语态,不能少于10个含有被动语态的句子。

T: Is that a great job

T: I think so. Do you want to be a translator
S1: Yes. If I am a translator, I can travel around the world like Wang Xuechun. She knows many kinds of foreign languages and she has no trouble in communicating with foreigners.
T: Being a translator is a good idea.
S2: The TV program reported a policeman worked in the Summer Palace. He can speak 13 kinds of languages. Though he is not a translator, he is great!
T: Yes. You’re right. OK, now let’s talk about something about language. You have 3 minutes, then share your
ideas with the class in your own way. Here I have a few questions to help you:

S5: There’re two thirds of the world scientists reading in English. About 200 million users of the Internet communicate in English, too.
T: You’re all very clever. You all know much about language. Let’s write the numbers on the blackboard.

T: You’re right! English is widely used around the world. It is spoken as mother tongue in many countries. It is also spoken as a second language. In non-English-speaking countries, it is also learned as a foreign language. Now listen to the tape and find out the answer to the question, OK
(板书问题于黑板上,让学生带着问题去听录音,捕捉有用信息。)

1. (再听一遍录音,学生跟读,注意语音语调。)

(复述课文。分组活动,每组5~6人,以接力赛的形式复述课文。最后选本组较好的2~3人把课文复述完整,看哪组做得最好。)

(方案二)
(不采用接力复述的方式,而是采用两人对话的形式。假设其中的一个同学没有上这节课,他问另一个同学今天英语学了哪些内容。通过这一情况,两人对话。把所学主要内容反馈出来。)

Step 4 Practice 练习(时间:10分钟)
1.(教师在给学生放第2部分的听力之前,可以采取一些方式让学生放松愉快一下,条件允许的学校,教师可以给学生播放《米老鼠和唐老鸭》里的歌曲,既可轻松引出第2部分的听力,又可以调节气氛。)

1. (让学生到讲台上去说几句话,每句话必须含有被动语态。可以分组活动,每组选一个代表来表述。)

(尽可能多地找学生说出含有被动语态的句子,给予表扬,调动学生的积极性,使他们能够乐于加入到浓厚的学习气氛中来,为营造一个和谐的课堂氛围打好基础。)

T: Look at these two pencil-boxes. They are the same in colors, shapes, but not in the size. We can say they are similar.

(学生依次回答问题,对于学生的错误答案不要急于更正,只需暗示他/她错了就行。为了让学生更好地针对自己的错误捕捉正确的信息,从而锻炼他/她的听力能力,教师再放一遍录音。直到找出正确答案为止。)

3. (教师熟练掌握2a部分,做到脱离课本能把课文复述的程度,因为教师的复述可以根据学生的能力适当调慢语速,使之更好地理解课文内容,最大限度获取信息。教师复述课文。)
(把问题板书到黑板上,避免学生看着课文回答问题,教师在了解学生掌握程度的同时,也锻炼了他们用自己的话回答问题的能力。记住,从教师复述课文到学生回答问题,学生的课本一直是合上的。)

(方案二):(如果学生的程度很好,教师可以不只简单地让学生表演对话,还可以在对话的基础上加以创新,但主题思想不变,依然是练习句子中的有用词组。)
