1 Divide the whole class into two groups. Ask the students to play a challenge game. Act as a judge. Write down some lists of numbers in their exercise-books. Group A read their numbers and the chosen student from Group B listen and write them down on the blackboard. Then exchange. Group work
2 Praise the winner and encourage the others. Try to do better next time.

Brain storm Students can read the numbers immediately. The colorful pictures can attract the students to the class. The teacher can also check how the students grasped the contents.
TaskⅠ 1 Students can pronounce in the right way after the teacher. The numbers they’ve learned can help the teacher to teach the new numbers.
2 Students can read and spell the numbers in the game. That way the teacher can check the students’ pronunciation. And the students can have a chance to show their excellence.
3 Students take part in the class activity actively. Most of them are eager to show their good memories of the words in front of others. The challenge game can help the students to remember the words quickly. It can also make the students to be emulous.
4 Most students grasp the numbers and use them in a right way. Give them more free time to use and consolidate the numbers.
TaskⅡ 1 Students can answer the teacher’s questions fluently. Do oral practice. It’s also a transition to the new target language.
2 Students can understand the dialog after they watch the video. It a direct conduct to the new contents.

教学效果预测:本单元的主题是数字的英文表达法,所以数词是学生单词突破的重点。与学生的生活相结合,设计一些实用性强的情景,如20以内的加减法,询问学生的年龄,电话号码,手机号码,传真号码等。这些知识不能死板地传授,一定要在任务中完成,让学生不知不觉地学习目标语言,图片的展示要给学生更立体的感受。学生对于这些跟实际生活相关的语言材料的理解及运用应该比较自如,如果能在演练中充分调动学生的积极性,这节课能够达到比较理想的效果。
