Unit 8 When is your birthday？说课教案

The first period （Section A）
（一）本课目标：
1.掌握十二个月份，1 st到31st之间的序数词，学会英文日期的表达方法。
2.学会运用When is your birthday is Oct.10th How old are you？I’m fifteen years old等问句及回答形式。
3.初步理解和运用--’s所有格。
4.亲自动手制作英文日历，并在日历上标出自己、家人及同学的生日。
（二）课前准备：a. 一张大的九月份的月历，12个月份的图片
b. 若干基数词和序数词对应的数字英文单词卡片（正面是数字缩写，背面是完全形式）
c. 一张身份证
（三）教学流程：
Step1 Warming up
与学生一起从one数到thirty-one，问学生：How many days are there in a month？引出month。然后可让学生回答How many days are there in January？（February，March，……December），并将月份名写在黑板上
Step2 Presentation
Show several pictures of different months，让学生猜月份，并把图片粘到相应的月份下，再进行带读和朗读。
Step3 Practice
听一听，读一读：SB 1a
Step4 Presentation
1出示一张大的九月份挂历，问：“When is the first day of school？”“On September 1st”。
2 呈现序数词1st到2st表格，并让学生说出并找出从first到thirsty-first构成规列。

Step6 Practice
1. 提问中心话题：When is your birthday，…？（My birthday is…）
How old are you？（I’m…years old）在这个环节中应让学生知道日期的表示法是：“月日，年”
2. 听听，给对话编号：SB：1b
3. 让学生将自己的生日用英文记下来，然后用“When is your birthday？”“My birthday is…”进行问答
4. 展开活动，完成2d部分，运用When is your/your mother`s/your father`s birthday？My/Her/His birthday is…句型，引出`s所有格形式。
Step7 Listen
SB:2c 将同学的名字，月份和日期匹配。
Step8 Pairwork
出示我的一张身份证，问学生从身份证上可以了解我的哪些信息，我问：What’s my name When is my birthday How old am I 学生会说出：Your name is … , Your birthday (It’s) is …，You are…等，再让学生结合3a的三张身份证编对话。
Step9 Make a card
课堂内用1~2分钟制作象3a中的个人身份证，让学生一问一答，更好的掌握上述句型。
Home work：1.询问其他同学的生日和年龄，按从小到大的顺序排列，课外收集部分学生作品，在展示栏内展出。
2.制作英文日历（制作自己生日所在月份或家人所在月份的日历，并且标出自己的生日及家人的生日）

（五）小结
1. 学习了十二个月份的名称、序数词first到thirsty-first，生词birthday等

The Second period (Section B)
（一）本课目标
1掌握新增词汇speech content，school trip，basketball game，festival等
2 通过安排活动的时间，复习所学的月份及序数词及“When is …`s birthday（party）…？Do you have…？Do you like… ”等句型。
3 进一步巩固学习-`s所有格，用来询问某一活动的日期，写一段有关自己的生日、年龄、喜欢的活动及家人情况等方面的短文。
4 结合Self Check中的 “3”，给学生讲解这些名人的简历，激发学生的进取心，树立远大理想。
（二）课前准备：1.收集学生制作的英文日历表
2. 一段“some events at my school” 的录音
（三）教学流程：
Step1Warming up
展示学生制作的月历并复习以下句型：
1.When is your birthday？When is… ’s birthday？How old is he /she？
2. 然后学生集体说出12个月份的名称和1st～31st序数词。
Step2 Presentation
Show some pictures and match the pictures with the events 引出speech content，school trip，party，basketball game 等单词并进行带读，并让学生完成第一部分。
Step3 Practice
1.听录音，填写Jeo`s calendar：Section B：2a，2b
2 .Pair work：ask and answer：a When is… `s birthday party？（It`s…）
b When is the school trip /the speech contest/the basketball game？（It`s…）并告知学生要注意“the”。
Step4 Pair work ：3a
学生A阅读P51的日程表，学生B阅读P84的日程表，然后互问互答完成各自的表格，选择几组到台前表演。
Step5 Complete the chant
播放事先准备好的录音，完成下列表格

带领学生学习3b中的对话，让学生表演对话，将表格填好，问1.Do you have a school day/an English party？等，若学生回答“Yes”，可接着问：2. When is it？3. Do you like it？
Step7 Practice
让学生看Self check 1中的第3部分，由上到下，由左到右就每幅名人照进行提问：1.Who is it in the picture？2 .When is his/her birthday？
Home work：1在纸上写出关于自己的五个句子
