教学目标
1. 语言目标
语言知识:要求学生掌握以下词汇(cleaning ,reading, watching TV, doing homework, eating dinner, talking on the phone)
What are you doing
I'm / We're watching TV.
Is he/ she watching TV
Yes, he/ she is. No, he/ she isn't.
语言技能:
(1)能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
(2)能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如:watch TV, read books, be boring, go to the movies, want to do sth.等。
(3)能在日常生活中恰当理解和运用本单元的话题范围内的单词和习惯用语。
2、情感目标:
培养同学间的友好合作能力,提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们学习英语的兴趣和热情。
3、文化意识:
了解西方人是如何表达或描述正在进行的动作。
4、学习 策略:
让学生在学习中善于利用图画等非语言信息理解主题,注意发现语言的规律并能运用规律举一反三;把注意力集中在意思的表达上,必要时可借助手势,表情等进行交流。
重点难点
1重点:---What’s he doing
---He’s reading.
难点:现在进行时的用法和动词V-ing 形式的构成,在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。
学生分析
1学生已经学过词汇:watch TV, do homework, talk on the phone,
2本单元话题与学生的日常生活紧密联系在一起,容易唤起学生的学习兴趣,这对于提高学生的听,说,读,写很有帮助。
教学策略
(1)现在进行时是学生刚刚接触的一种新的语法项目,而本单元的话题源自生活,立足这一点,我充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验,引导学生在 运用语言中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言(为用而学, 在用中学,学了就用)最后让学生总结归纳现在进行时的结构形式。
(2)开展多种类型的任务型活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。

2 Match the words and the activities.
Read the words in 1a.
Write the letter of each activity in the picture next to the correct word .
Check the answers.
Step 3 During-task

1) Complete 1b
T: Jenny and Bob are talking on the phone .Who are they talking and what are they doing
Listen to the recording.
Write the numbers of each activity from 1a after that person’s name.
Check the answers.
2) Complete 2a
T:What is Steve doing Dose Steve want to go to the movies
Listen and write the answers on the blank line.
3) Complete2b
Let students read the four lines.
Listen and put them in the right order .
Ask students to read this conversation.
2, Task2 :Guessing
Look at the screen , guess what the people are doing .Use these sentences:
What’s he/she doing Is he /she doing homework
He’s/she’s reading. Yes ,he/she is.
No ,he isn’t/she isn’t.
Step 4 Post-task.

Let students in groups find something in common and different in these sentences.

2). Tell the difference

read-reading sit-sitting dance-dancing
Ask the Ss in groups to have a look and find the difference between them. Then ask the Ss to read them again
Step 5. Homework
Write down what your family members are doing tonight. Then you’ll give us a report tomorrow.

采用课堂打分表.以及作业评价.每小组的成员根据课堂表现为本组内的每个成员打分,教师对学生的作业评等级.
