教学内容:Section A 1a,1b,1c. 2a,2b, 2c.
教学目标:
1. 熟练掌握以下单词的读音及拼写。

2. 熟练运用一般疑问句及答语。

教学过程:
一、 复习日常交际用语。

二、 引入新课
① 利用学生书桌上的文具,运用升调和面部表情让学生明白 Is this your pen 的意思。引导他们作出肯定和否定回答。
② 利用教师书桌上的东西,问一个学生, Is this your book
③ 在一女生书桌上拿一笔记本问一男生,Is this your notebook
帮助他回答:No, it isn’t. It’s her notebook
让学生三人一组进行练习
三、 听录音完成 Section A 1b
四、 指导学生分组练习 Section A 1a.
五、 评比活动 每组挑选代表上台表演,评出最佳表演小组。
六、 听录音完成 2a. 2b
七、 巩固练习 根据句意,首字母等提示填词。

第二课时
Task Ⅰ:
1. Learn the new words and expand , the new vocabularies .
2. this acting (2b ) gives students to practise in listening for and writng the vocabulary words
materal : tape , material objects , a pencil , a ruler , a pencil case , an English book , a Chinese book , a pen , a key , a phone , a notebook
Instrustion :
Is this your pencil Yes , it is .
Is this your pen No , it isn’t .

Is that her eraser No , it isn’t .
Useful words : eraser , pencil , ruler , pencilcase , book , key , phone
Process : 1 Point to the material objects and show them to students one by one .
2 Ask students to say the English names for them .
3 Point to the words in the box and ask students to read them aloud .
4 Play the recording . Students write one of the words form the box on each blank line .
5 Correct the answers , Ask foru students to read the conversation , filling in the missing words . The rest of the students check their work .
Pronunciation note :
Point out that yes / no questions use rising intonation voice rises at the end of these questions . Ask students to listening to the recording of the conersation again and again . Notice how the voice riese at the end of these questions . “ Is it an eraser Is it a ruler Is it a pencil Is this your pencil ”
Task Ⅱ
Task : this activity provides an opportunity for oral practice by using the new vocabulary and tanget language .
Target language : What’s this in English
It’s a backpack .
Is it your backpack Yes , it is
Process : Guess what it is
1 Ask students draw anything in the classroom in turns . The others guess the objects in the box at the beginning , the one that guess all the answers is winner .
2 A: How do you spell it
B: E-R-A-S-E-R , eraser . It’s an eraser .
If the student answer it correctly , add a point for the team in which the student is . At the same time , the student who draws the picture well also can get a point for her or his team .
Task Ⅲ Grammar focus
Task 1 Review the grammar box . Ask students to say the questions and answers .
2 Point out that the word that shows ownership ( the possessie adjective) comes before the item we are talking about .
Process : Use the hand gestures to show : we , I , you , he , she , they . Then hold up a pen and say my pen (use the gesture of hand ) your pen,her pen , his pen , your pen , their pen . More around the classroom to ask students : Is your pen Ss answer : Yes , it is . / No , it isn’t .
Task Ⅳ (3a ) This activity provides oral practice pronouncing the letters of the alphabet .
Process : 1 Play the recording the first time . Students only listen .
2 Play the recording again . Have students continue to point to the letters . This time ask them to repeat the name of each letter .
Task Ⅴ (3b ) This activity procides guided oral practice using the target language and vocabulary .

Process : 1) Ask part of students to practise the example conversations in3b . More around the room checking on their work .
2) Point out the pictures of the ruler , pencil , pen , eraser , and backpack . Ask students to say the name of each picture .
3) Ask students to work in pairs again . Have them practice the conversation again . Substituting the words shown in the classroom as exercise book , dictionary , backpack , notebook , pictures the students on the back wall .
Task`Ⅵ Game ( Find the woner)
Before class, the teacher collects some students’ things and put them into the paper bag .
Teacher : I have something of yours . But I’m sorry I don’t know whose these are . Could you help me find all the owners first and write the owner’s names in the chart .

Process: 1) 想一想,你曾经丢失或捡到过别人的东西吗?
2) Ask students to lost orfind something that the other lost
3) Ask them to write a lost and found on paper .
4) Call attention to the notices on the bulletin board (blackboard). Ask students to read the notices and get back the owners of the things according the notices by phone .
The teacher can make an example before you ask the students do it .

Task 3 : 1) Ask students to look back at page 10 . Have students read the list of the words .
2) Look at the Section B 3a .
3) Check the answers by having one student read his or her circled answers .

4) Page 11 3b . this activity provide guided reading practice using the target language .
Teacher told students that they are in the wrong order . when they are in the right order , they will make a clear message .
Point out the number 1 in the box after the partial word “fou” .Say , this is the first part of the message . Write number 2,3 and 4 in the boxes to complete the message .
As students work , move around the room and check their progress .

Ask students to pay attention to the word “at” .
