1、 课题:Unit 11 Could you please clean your room
2、 分析单元教学内容,确定单元教学目标
本单元的主目标是能用 “Could you please do things ” “Could I please do things ”谈论如何委婉地提出请求或征求别人的许可, 及回答语“Sure / Certainly / I’m glad to .”能礼貌地拒绝,“Sorry, I / you can’t,. I / you have to do…”并表达自己的理由, 陈述自己的好恶。以do housework 和调查做力能所及的事和向他人求助为话题,学会运用“Could you please do things ”“Could I please do things ”是本单元的语言目标。
本单元的学习内容(target language)有:学习名词trash, clothes, laundry, floor, CD player, teenager, snacks, cleaning, , living room, meeting room, ,ride(n), washing. 情态动词can could.. 动词fold, cook, need to, say, hate, stay out, sweep, take out, use, wash, give, invite,.并且复习运用情态动词have to. 区别make与do在短语中的用法.学会写留言,获得帮助.
通过本单元的学习,教师适时对学生进行爱的教育,使他们能理解父母,帮助分担家务,学会与他人沟通,这亦是素质教育的“以人为本”的目标体现。

本单元SectionA 部分学习活动有
1a: Pairwork. Do you do chores at home Write “Y”(for yes) and “N” (for no). Then ask your partner and write down his or her answers.
(这一活动以说和写的方式, 通过两人小组关于对家务的调查和记录, 目标是学习表示做家务的动词组.).
1b: Listen. In the chart above, write “M” next to Mom’s chores and
“p” next to Peter’s chores.

2c: Pairwork. Student A, you are Peter. Ask if you can do things. Student B, you are Peter’s father. Say “yes ”or ”no”. If you say “no”, give a reason.

活动1a—2c通过听说读写的方式,以家务为话题,呈现新词组do the dishes, sweep the floor, take out the trash, make the bed, fold the clothes, clean the living room, stay out, get a ride, 及用have to do和 need to do表达必须做的事,说明理由. 句型Could you please do… 和Could I please do … 及礼貌的肯定和否定应答. 活动逐步递进,最后达到熟练运用target language进行表达。
Grammar focus是语法的归纳和总结
3a.Fill in the blanks with “make” or “do”.
(通过这个活动通过写和对话练习,目标是学习含有make和do的动词短语,并区别make与do的不同.)
3b. Make a list of the chores you do. Write “like” or“don’t like”
next to each chore. Tell a partner what chores you like and don’t like. Say why.

4. Group work. Sorry, I can’t!
Write each of these chores on a card and put them face down. Turn one card over and ask your partner to do the chore. Your partner says “no” and gives a reason.
(通过这个游戏, 激发学生的兴趣, 将Section A 中所学的词汇和句型进行综合的运用.使学生在做中学,合作中学习,达到熟练地运用目标语言进行表达.)

Section B 中有以下几项活动:
1a. What can teenagers ask their parents to do What do parents ask their teenagers to do Write “parents” or “teenagers” next to each phase.
(这个活动的目标是学习动词短语。其中新词汇有snack, invite to…,use your CD player, borrow some money, teenager.在这个活动中,谈论自己和父母所做的家务,目的是启发学生从平凡的生活中感悟到父母的恩情,体现了培养学生“学会做人”的课程理念)
1b. Pairwork. Tell your parents to activity 1a. Do your parents agree
(这是一个控制性的活动,目标是巩固词汇,运用target language.)
2a. Listen and check the things in 1a that you hear.(这个活动通过听和选择来巩固词汇理解target language. 并且将话题从家务拓展到日常生活的其他方面,呈现新词disagree.).
2b.Listen again. What is Sandy’s mom going to do What is Sandy going to do What are Sandy and Dave going to do Fill in the chart.
(这个活动通过听、说和写来使用target language)
2c. Pair work. You are having a party. Ask your partner for help. Talk about things.
(这个活动提供了开晚会的真实的生活情景,以合作学习的方式使学生达到熟练运用target language,)
3a. Read the e-mail message. Which things are about exercise Cleaning Food Complete the chart.
(该活动通过阅读,使学生学习新词,了解如何运用target language写留言,获得他人的帮助)
3b. Sandy wants Dave to help her with her party. Complete this e-mail message from Sandy to Dave. Look at the chart in activity 2b for ideas.
(该活动以读和写的方式,使学生学会运用target language达到写的目标。)
3c. Image you are going to move to a new house. Write an e-mail message to a friend and ask him or her for help.
(该活动提供搬家的真实的生活情景,使学生学会运用target language达到写的目标,解决生活中的问题。最终达到语言的学以致用的目的。)
4. Groupwork. Work in groups of three. Student A, look at page 94. Student B look at page 95. Student C, look at page 96.(该活动通过听说读写,以合作学习的方式,使学生能综合target language运用进行交际。)
B部分是A部分的拓展和延伸, 如词汇的拓展,呈现了snack, invite to…,use your CD player, borrow some money, teenager,disagree, take care of, need some help, feed等,综合运用Could you please… Could I please… ),话题从housework拓展到 everyday activities,围绕如何礼貌地提出请求和征求许可,学会写留言以获得他人的帮助。最终如何礼貌地求得帮助成为本单元的语言目标,使单元主题得到提升。

这部分的活动是针对单元的复习巩固和学生的自我评价而设计的。活动1的目标是复习词汇,活动2是运用目标语强化单元主题的写作。活动3以幽默的图片方式,使目标语得到巩固。
三. 学生学情分析
本单元话题来自学生的生活经历,学生在初一已经学习了许多动词短语,为表达提供了语言基础,此外,学生已初步掌握了用祈使句和Can you… /Can I… 提出请求和建议, 为本单元的学习打下了铺垫。
单元活动设计的话题从谈论家务---对家务的看法(好恶)---父母和孩子之间承担的家务---- 社交、休闲活动等生活的各个方面,各任务层层递进,如谈饮食、开晚会、搬家等话题,与学生的生活紧密相连,又是学生饶有兴趣的内容,为表达提供了真实的材料,使得学生在各个活动中想说、有话说,使活动参与的范围广,达到任务的真实性,有效性。
在学习中学生受到爱的教育,学会爱父母,爱家庭,爱劳动,学会如何与人交往,学会表达自己对事情的看法,使他们的个性得到张扬。
四、单元重点和难点
1.单元重点。
1)学习和复习一些常用的动词短语。
2)委婉地提出请求、征求许可做某事。
Could you/I please do things? Yes, Sure. / 。I/You can.
Sorry, I / you can’t,.., I / you have to do…”
3)学习写留言条和请求他人的帮助。
2.单元难点。
1)在实际的生活中委婉地表达自己的请求和征求许可,获取帮助
