Teaching procedures:
Stage 1: warming up
By watching an English flash “If you are happy, …” , get the students ready for the lesson and make them interested in the next steps.
After the flash, students are excited. Then come to the next stage: Revision.
Stage 2: revision
Go over the dialogue learned last period by watching a flash.
Emphasize the language points in the dialogue by doing some exercises.
Enable the students to lay a good ground for the new materials.

What/How about going out for a walk after supper?
3.live in some place 她同妈妈一起住在一座很大的农房里.

Stage 3: Presentation of new materials
After the warming up and revision, the students are naturally led to the new materials.
Get the students to read the dialogue.
Get the students to act the dialogue out and teach them how to ask for and offer help.
Then explain the dialogue.
1.Would you like …? 表示意愿,喜欢干某事,相当于want to do…
I would like to have a rest for a while. = I want to have a rest for a while.
2.There be 句型 表示某地有某物(一般主语是无生命的)
There is + 不可数名词或可数名词单数
There are +可数名词复数
e.g: There is a hospital next to our school.
There are many tall trees in our school.

She found her lost dog on the street corner.

Stage 4: Look and match
Give the students eight pictures about eight different places.
Get the students to name them.
Get the students to match these places with proper actions.
Stage 5: Listening practice
Train the students’ listening abilities.
Strengthen the students’ memory of new words of this period.
Stage 6: Further study
Get the students talk about the environment.
Teaching the students to express complaint.
Make them aware of the importance of keeping good relationships with their neighbors.
