强调句
强调句是指，人们在交际的过程中，为了使得自己的思想能为听者或读者恰当的理解，而必须突出重要的内容时，所使用的一种句型。
一 用It is/ was… that / who 句型表示强调。
1被强调的部分（通常是句子的主语，状语，宾语或宾语补足语）放在is/ was的后面，如果被强调的是人，则后面可用who/ whom等代替。
I bought a book in the street yesterday. （ 我昨天在街上买了一本书）
这个句子可以通过强调句型对除谓语动词之外的不同成分进行强调。
It was I who/ that bought a book in the street yesterday. （强调主语）
It was a book that I bought in the street yesterday. （强调宾语）
It was in the street that I bought a book yesterday. （强调地点状语）
It was yesterday that I bought a book in the street. （强调时间状语）
注意：①在强调时间，地点，原因或方式状语时，一律用that ，而不用when, where, how 或why 。不能与定语从句混淆。
②强调主语时，从句中的谓语动词要与被强调的主语保持一致。
2 区别强调句型和定语从句
It is /was …that…强调句型的强调部分必须是对that/ who之后句子的某一成分表示强调，如果把“It is (was)…that”去掉，该句子的意思完整不缺少任何成分。若结构不完整，则说明原句为定语从句。
例如： It is in the shop I bought all the things. （强调地点状语）
It is the shop where I bought all the things. （定语从句的先行词为the place，且在从句中充当地点状语）
二 用助动词do, dose或did来强调谓语动词。
Do be more careful! 一定要非常仔细！
He dose really like sports. 他确实非常喜欢运动！
