2．前后句中重复出现的词, 可省略后面的．
3．定语从句中的关系代词如作宾语, 可以省略．
4．关系代词why所说明的先行词the reason常加省略．
5．祈使句中的主语you应予以省略．
6．宾语从句的连词that常可省略．
7．状语从句的主语如与主句的主语相同, 且从句的助动词是be, 则从句可省略主语和助动词be．
8．所有格名词或人接house, shop, office等词, 这些词可省略．
9．表示身份、职务的名词作表语或同位语, 省略冠词．
10．可用不定式符号to代替重复的不定式或短语．
