Listening and Speaking教案
Teaching aims:
1.Find words to show one's feelings.
2.Distinguish the reasons. Grasp the expressions to show thanks.
3.Practise expressing thanks and responding to thanks.
Teaching process:
Step(I)Pre-listening
Enjoying an English song-Edelweiss before class.
Ask some questions about the song and learn some new words.
1.Do you like the song
2.Which film is it from (The Sound of Music)
3.How many Oscars did the film get
Five Oscar awards, or rewards. They are bright and valuable. Getting them means great honor.(Write the new words on the blackboard.)
4.When the directors or actors got Oscar awards, how did they feel
(Ask Ss to find words as many as they can. Give more words about the excited feelings.)(shocked, thankful, excited, grateful, full of gratitude/ appreciation, proud, honored, pleased...)
5.What do you want to say (Practice using them.)
6.First,you want to express your feelings and then maybe you want to thank sb. Who do you want to thank
Step(II)While-listening
1.Listen to an award speech and answer two questions.
(1)Which kind of award was given to the lady
(2)Who did she want to thank
2.Listen to the speech again and try to find the reason and expressions.(Teacher use pause key. Let Ss write them down in exercise3)
3.Listen again. Check and fill in the missing words.
Step(III)Post-listening
According to the clue, retell the speech.
CLUE:(1)Expressing feelings.

Step(IV)Speaking
1.Read the sentences in exercise5 and discuss with your partners how to use them.
2.According to the sentences, make dialogues about situation1 and situation2.(In situation1,B wanted to help A, but B failed to do so. We can choose the second sentence to show thanks.)
3.Look at pictures about a story.(A boy saved an old man.)Make a dialogue about the last picture.(The boy has a noble heart. We can choose sentence4 or others)
Step(V)Act out an interview
(Teacher show photos about Zhou Jielun and Cui Yongyuan.)
Suppose Zhou Jielun received a award for "best singer". Cui Yongyuan wants to interview him .According to the following questions, make an interview.
