该节课为本单元的第一课时,中心话题为“新西兰”,涉及新西兰的“地理概况”、“风俗民情”等,而这单元的warming-up 又主要是通过了解中国的地理位置复习描述方位与方向的词汇与句型。因此,决定将这两部分结合,并将Warming-up 作为导入部分,
放弃pre-reading,使学生的兴趣注意点
转移到与地理等有关的知识上。
学情分析
教学对象为高中一年级学生,智力发展趋于成熟。他们的认知能力比初中阶段有了进一步的发展,渐渐形成用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。学生已经完成了高中英语第一个模块的学习,渐渐习惯了我的教法。虽然一开始他们觉得与初中教学很不相同(初中老师注重手把手式的语法教学),但经过半个学期后,他们适应得很快,而且
还取得一定的进步。他们会对课
文内容提出自己的疑惑和勇于阐
述见解,并且从课内知识拓展到
课外,通过多种渠道获取学习资源。
课后反思
教学成功之处是引导学生一步接一步从阅读文章表层意思,到探讨深层意思,使学生通过阅读手段,了解新西兰的风土人情、地理、历史知识等,提高阅读能力,强化文化意识。引入部分达到预期效果,没有用书本上的例子,而自己准备了录音和图片作为引入,时间短且能引起学生兴趣及渴望了解更多的求知欲。 不足之处在于,课堂时间较短,对于
英语水平较低的学生,阅读时间不足。
其次缺少讨论性的问题设置,学生之
间及师生之间的互动不足,学生课堂
上说的机会还是不够。这是应当积极
改正的一点。在以后的课堂中应当努
力为学生创造说英语的环境。?课题小结
为改变英语教学“耗时多、效益低”和学生实际应用能力滞后的被动局面,教育部拟定了新的《普通高中英语课程标准》。其中的“资源策略”是指学生合理并有效地利用多种媒体进行学习和应用英语的策略。该《标准》还第一次提出了“文化意识”的教学目标,指出:“接触和了解英语国家的文化有利于对英语的理解和使用,有利于加深对本国文化的理解与认识,有利于培养世界意识,有利于形成跨地域文化交际能力。”教师是课程改革的促进者和实施者,面对新课程标准,英语教师不能再简单地拘泥于教材,而是要以课程标准为依据,以教材提供的内容为平台,充分挖掘和有效利用多种英语课程资源,自主、灵活、创造性地开展教学活动。本课借助多媒体的材料充实了英语课堂教学,使整堂课充实而饱满,从中国的地图到新西兰的美景,从词汇的教学到课文内容的理解,不但能扩大词汇量、丰富口语素材,而且丰富了学生的视野,培养他们的美感,陶冶他们的情操,激发他们热爱自然,保护自然的情感,提高英语综合文化素质和实际应用能力,课堂活动丰富多彩,有效地完成教学目标,提高教育教学质量。
