与make连用的常用词组有：make an attempt, make an effort, make an offer, make a suggestion, make a phone call, make a mistake, make progress 等。4．in a way: to a certain extent 在某种程度上。
与in a way同义的词组有in one way 和in some ways。
容易与之混淆的词组是in the way意为“造成阻碍”，请比较：
