1959年出生于德黑兰,马基德的电影处女作《手足情深》获选1992年戛纳影展导演双周放映。其后的《继父》一片先后获得伊朗影展最佳影片，北美洲圣保罗影展、突尼斯影展等重要奖项。1998年的《天堂的孩子》成为首次获奥斯卡最佳外语片提名的伊朗影片，扩大了伊朗电影的国际影响力，马基德迅速成为伊朗人心中的民族英雄。1999年《天堂的颜色》继续《天堂的孩子》的辉煌，蝉联了蒙特里尔电影节上最佳电影奖。一直痴迷于儿童电影的马基德·马基迪，首次转变题材，创作出反映难民生活的《巴伦》，显现出其作为一个优秀导演对各种题材的超常把握能力。
Background: a famous director, Majid Majidi has been invited to shoot a 5-minute film to share his impression of the city with the world. One of his interesting works is Children of Heaven (《小鞋子》).Plot of the film： A brother and sister share a pair of shoes when the boy (though no fault of his own) loses his sister's only pair (they have classes at different times of the day). Knowing their family is too poor to buy a new pair, they keep it a secret. Then the boy has a plan: the third-place prize in a student running race is a new pair of shoes, and he's determined to win them.朱塞佩·托纳托雷?
