Recently, our class have had a heated discussion about whether the Beijing Zoo should be moved out of the city.
Some of my classmates are in favor of the move.They say large crowds of tourists to the zoo will result in traffic jams.They also say that once moved, animals will have more space and better living conditions in the suburbs. However, other students are against the idea, saying that the Beijing Zoo, built in 1906, has a history of 100 years, and is well–known at home and abroad. So it should remain where it is. What’s more, moving may cause the death of some animals.
To move or not, this is a big decision which has to be made by people in Beijing.

Is a Training class or Family Teacher Necessary?
More and more middle school students are going to all kinds of training classes or having family teachers at the weekend. There are two different viewpoints about/on it. / Opinions are divided on it.Some thinks it necessary. First of all, it’s more effective to study with a teacher than by themselves. Secondly, it can strengthen what is learnt in class. Besides, they can learn a lot more.
Others think it unnecessary. For one thing, students can easily form the habit of dependence. For another(thing), students need time to relax from time to time. What’s more, the purpose of many training classes and teacher is to make money.
In my opinion, whether a training class or family teacher is needed just depends. If you are really very weak at or interested in a certain subject, maybe it’s OK for you. I am writing to tell you about my classmates’ opinions about a TV progamme－Super Girl. About 80 per cent of the students who have watched or heard of the program do support it. In their opinion, the program is not only unique but creative as well. Each person’s personality should be valued, whatever he or she is. The program provides a stage for those people who want to demonstrate their talents. And this can help them gain more confidence than ever.However, other students think that the program misleads the youth to some degree, which does more harm than good to them. Some young people may feel that success comes from luck but not hard work.Besides, it is misunderstood that person just means different behavior and appearance from others.
Although I am for such a program, it should not go so far as to affect young people’s normal life and learning.

There are many advantages in attending schools abroad. First, students who study abroad can make friends with people of different cultures. Second, they can learn much more advanced knowledge of science and technology from foreign countries. Third, they can learn foreign languages more quickly.
However, there are some disadvantages. Most of the students are too young to live by themselves without any living experience. Besides, being far away from their motherland, they may feel lonely and homesick. What’s more, the costs are much higher there than at home.
In spite of these, advantages are more than disadvantages.
