English Humour背景信息课时案例预设目标中心话题是:“感受英语幽默”
“幽默”的两层含义:
一是指使某事物可笑或喜剧性的因素;
二是指看出、欣赏或表达有趣的喜剧性事物的能力 (the ability to understand and enjoy what is funny and makes people laugh)。 背景信息不同地域和不同的国家对幽默的理解,表现幽默的形式也不尽相同,但其实质都是相同的:
把缺陷和完美、荒唐和合理、愚笨和机敏等两极对立的属性不动声色地融为一体,在这种对立统一中,见其深刻的意义或自嘲风貌。
阅读部分以“非语言幽默”为题,介绍了查理?卓别林以及他在无声电影时代的精湛表演,特别是在著名影片《淘金记》中,他运用滑稽、夸张的动作表情,让观众在捧腹大笑之余,体会琐屑、卑微之中所隐藏的深刻本质。 背景信息通过本课时的学习,理解一些非语言幽默的含义,熟悉幽默的这种表示形式;
感受中西方幽默形式的差异;
通过阅读Nonverbal Humour 这篇文章,继续使用skimming, scanning和 close-reading的阅读技巧,理解课文内容和关键词的意义及其在课文中的用法。同时,基本完成教师设计的课堂任务并在在最终结果展示中有所创新。 预设目标学习重点:阅读并理解课文内容,能够通过重新组织语言表达课文内容;在阅读中理解重点词汇和短语的意义及用法。
