III . The main problems in former teaching and learning:
Because many students forgot more in their summer holidays, and they started this term for only one week. So they may become more careful at their studies. In Unit 1 they have learnt the present perfect tense a little. In unit 2, they continue learning it ,it is often used with “already, just and yet”. So the teacher should explain it carefully in class.

Teaching steps:Step 1 Warming up(1) Have a free talk with individual as following:--Have you got … /Has he got… --Yes, I have./ Yes, I have got one./ No, I haven’t./ No, I haven’t got one.--Yes, he has./ Yes, he has got one./No, he hasn’t. / No, he hasn’t got one.Step 2 Pretask(1) Get them to make dialogues, using the above phrases, talking about “borrowing things” “ doing shopping” “in the library”, etc.(2) Ask the students:Who likes to do water sport What kinds of water sports do you do Have the students work in small groups tocome up with a list of kinds of water sports. Then the teacher introduce surfing to them.Step 3 While taskPart 1. Speech cassette lesson5. Play the tape and have the students read while they listen. Try to understand the new words.
