根据新目标英语教学大纲的要求,根据本课在教材中的地位作用,以及本班学生的实际情况,我把以下定为教学的重点和难点:
学情分析 初一学生年龄小,对中学的新环境、新教法尚处于适应阶段,而且注意力集中不持久,学习能力较弱。而我所教班级的学生英语水平参差不齐,听说读写能力一般。但这个年龄段的学生求知欲强,好胜心强,喜欢表现自己,容易接受新鲜事物。因此,我在教学中采用直观生动,多种多样的教学方法及手段,我的教学设计也尽量贴近学生的生活,力求激发各个层次学生的兴趣,有效地培养他们主动学习的能力,促进学生个性的发展。
  根据新课标的要求,基础教育阶段的英语课程任务是要求学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力。此外,Go for it教材提倡任务型教学模式,让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知,体验,实践,参与与合作等方式,去实现任务的目标,从而感受成功。因此,为了解决本课的重难点,我设计的教学方法如下:
教法设计 教学方法:1)利用乐器的声音猜及图片展示---学习新单词,新句型,突出学习重点,引起学生的兴趣。
2)以任务型活动或游戏为载体,培养学生的语言交际能力,在生生、师生互动中学会“会做和不会做”的表达方法。教学手段: 主要以现代化电教手段-多媒体来辅助教学,贯穿整个教学过程。这种教学手段使学生能更直观地理解所学内容,加强了视听效果,加大了课堂容量,也加快了教学节奏。学法指导 现在我们的教学最主要的目的已不是让受教育者学到知识,而是如何使他们学会学习,因此,加强对学生的学法指导显得尤为重要。以下是我的一些做法:
1.指导学生参与任务和游戏活动,鼓励各个层次的学生都来进行体验,实践,讨论,合作,并在互动学习中要团结互助。
2.引导学生学会观察、思考、归纳,向学生渗透自主学习的方法。如:教学一个短语play the piano,让学生联想到play basketball等,归纳出这些短语之间的区别。
