(Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ) 二、教材内容分析 北师大高中英语新课标必修6有三个单元,每个单元围绕一个主要话题开展听、说、读、写活动。本单元的话题是“美”,本课时是本单元的第二课时,内容包括热身(Warming up),读前(Pre-reading),阅读(Reading)和理解(Com-prehending)四个部分。其中阅读部分提供了本单元的主要阅读语篇,篇幅最长,载有本单元话题“美”的重要信息,且呈现了本单元的大部分的词汇和主要语法结构,是本单元学习的重点。三、本课时的新课标理念新课标阅读技能测试要点:
1. 理解主旨大意;
2. 寻读具体信息;
3. 理解细节;
4. 根据上下文提供语境推测生词词义,进而加深对文段的理解;
5. 简单的判断和推理;
6. 理解文段的基本逻辑结构;
7. 理解作者的意图和态度;
8. 理解文段的文化信息 本课时我把阅读课文作为整体来处理,运用整体阅读教学法,“任务型”活动和多媒体辅助教学等各种方法组织指导学生理解课文,提高阅读技能,以达到新课标对学生阅读能力的要求。四、教学目标设计 1. 知识与技能:
①掌握快速阅读的方法,使学生了解什么是美,并能正确认识不同时代的美的特点、形成和发展;参照范例就审美标准的时代变化发表自己的观点。
②充分利用多媒体技术,培养学生组织语言、运用语言的能力。
2. 过程与方法:
①培养学生筛选局部和整体信息的能力及独立阅读的能力,通过自主学习、协作学习来获取信息和处理信息的能力。
②培养学生的质疑意识,提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。
3. 情感价值观:
通过本节课的学习, 唤起学生理解动物、尊重动物和保护动物的意识。通过学习主人公的精神,使学生受到鞭策和鼓舞,培养学生(尤其是女学生)的自信心、事业心和社会责任感,建立正确的性别观和社会观。V. Teaching important and difficult pointsTeaching aims and demands

Step 4 Consolidation 学生通过阅读获得了信息的输入,而运用所输入的信息来完成某项语言任务是巩固其阅读效果,内化其学习内容,转化其学习能力的必要途径。课堂讨论和复述课文是训练学生运用所输入的信息进行信息加工和信息输出的一个重要环节,采用适当的方法对学生进行复述课文的训练,既能帮助学生深入理解课文,掌握课文的要点,又能提高学生的口头表达能力,同时为提高学生英语书写的能力打下基础。这个教学环节我设计了两个任务活动,一个是讨论活动 ,一个是复述课文活动。Voice your opinion Discuss in pairs. 2.本课在写作技巧上很有特色,尤其是文章的第一段,作者通过变化多样的手法使非洲森林的一日研究历程生动的展现在读者面前。
