Step one Speaking
a. Lead-in. Show some pictures of different foreign festivals and learn& memorize the useful sentences.

c. Introduce Carnival to them----Carnival originates from Europe. At Carnival, people enjoy eating ,drinking ,dressing up and dancing. The most famous Carnival in Europe is in Venice. Period One Introduction & Writing
一、教材分析:
   所授内容外研版第五册第四模块中Introduction和Writing整合成一节说话和写作课。具体内容是结合中国的几个传统的节日,介绍西方传统节日,以便增强文化意识,了解各国文化的差异,并以春节为话题写一篇新高考五句话的基础写作型的作文。
二、教学目标
  a 知识目标:掌握下列单词及短语:
  Christmas ,Thanks Giving Day ,Holi,Halloween,atmosphere, spectator celebration ,whistle,tasty , parade ,Notting Hill carnival ,The West Indian Calypso bands及中国几个重要的传统节日的英文表达。
  b 能力目标:提高学生说和写能力,加强学生话题讲英文方面训练,使学生能灵活运用所学英语进行口语表达。
  c 德育目标:教育学生应广泛学习各国不同的文化知识,尊重各种文化的差异,增长见识,陶冶情操。
  d 重点、难点
    重点:学习西方国家的传统节日的有关知识;学会用自己的话来表达。
    难点:运用所学语言表达方式介绍中国的节日,转为自己的知识,并能流畅的以作文的形式书写出来。
三、说教法
首先, 说话环节。运用精美的代表每一种节日的图片,引导学生对图画进行描述。如运用圣诞老人,圣诞树引出Christmas。让学生继续补充,圣诞节的由来,人们在何时,哪些地方庆祝,有哪些活动,等等一些内容进行说话。
其次,采取小组讨论。给每组学生,一个中国的节日,进行小组讨论。然后将讨论结果写下,并选取同学代表发表。既让]学生自觉地开口说话,也听了小组同学们的不同意见,取其精华,不断进步,合作精神也得到了培养。
最后,通过阅读一篇电子邮件介绍有关英国某地狂欢节的庆祝形式,以小组形式,写一篇有关春节的高考新题型基础写作五句话作文。向朋友介绍中国的春节,分享异同点。
四、说学法
  爱因斯坦说过,兴趣是最好的老师。在利用现代化的教学手段,创造出令学生感兴趣的情景后,抓住学生求新、好奇的心理特点,教师适当引导,使学生积极主动的去学习新知识,最大限度的调动学生参与到整个教学活动中。从而提高学生分析问题、解决问题、语言运用诸方面能力的发展。
  其次,学习知识的最佳途径是由自己去发现。老师的责任是指导学生如何去发现。教是为了不教,激发学生乐学和会学,提高创新能力。
五、教学程序
  1、用图片导入。 目的是把抽象的节日通过图片具体形象地展示,激发学生浓厚的兴趣,并简单的对图片进行描述。复习学生以往所学的知识,为引出新内容“狂欢节”作铺垫。
  2、中国节日汇集。 举出中国一些典型的传统节日,并说出庆祝的时间,庆祝方式,一些传统风俗。
3、小组讨论。分配中国的传统节日到每个组,小组进行讨论,组长负责记下说话要点,并选代表发言,阐述小组意见。大家都可以学到不同的东西。
4、快速阅读。根据地子邮件介绍当地狂欢节的情景,仔细阅读,获取信息。学习国外的文化,和一些表达方式。
  5、信息回馈。针对阅读文章,设计一些问题,让学生进行回答。并把文章一些活动颠倒顺序,让学生凭记忆排序。目的是加深学生对课文的理解
  6、现场写作。学生拿到题目后根据写作要求,给朋友写一封电子邮件。以小组为单位,每六人写一篇。然后拿一两片进行批改。
  7、布置作业,巩固上述所学,课后自己查阅资料,了解更多西方的节日。

学生分析
本人所任教的是高二生物重点班的学生。这个班有47人,由36个女生和10个男生组成,女生占多数,女生们对于英语学习往往较大的兴趣况且她们大部分同学,活泼好动,积极主动,表现欲望及求知欲望强烈。在老师的领导下,能大胆主动的陈述自己的意见和建议。因此,英语教学开展本身就有一定的优势。通过高一一年的学习,他们已经掌握了简单的学习策略和技巧,有一定的英语的听说读写的能力。接触和了解了英语国家的文化,懂得了一些中外文化差异,希望学习更多的科学文化知识。
教材分析
本节课在教材的组织上,整合了Introduction 和Writing 讲授一节口语和写作课。以“狂欢节”为话题,结合中国的几个传统佳节和西方传统节日,引出狂欢节的概念。为本模块的进一步学习作铺垫。在课堂上尽可能多地让学生口头的讲述所了解的中外节日,了解各国文化的差异,最后以春节为话题写一篇新高考五句话的基础写作型的作文。

(六)课后反思
由于授课班级是重点班的学生,学生课堂气氛活跃,积极的发表他们的意见,展示出对本节课内容的喜爱,始终以饱满的精神状态贯穿于整节课。回顾我上课的过程,收获不少,有成功之处,也有值得需改进的地方。
本节课我觉得满意的几点:
一、备课充分。从选定材料后,我就认真钻研教材,确定了教学内容后,仔细研读文本,深入了解教材编排的特点、意图及文本折射出的深层次的内涵,大胆取舍与整合,把Introduction和Writing设计为一节说话和写作课。对于山区的学生来说,说话课难以实施,但由于我总是用英文授课,学生也逐渐习惯了这种教学模式。课前先分组让学生查找节日的相关的内容,锻炼学生的资料的搜索及整理的能力。我自己也不断的上网找资料,询问身边有经验的教师。写作课一环节是以高考新题型五句话作文为要求,让学生熟悉基础写作的模式。最后将授课内容制作成内容丰富,形式精美的课件。课件受到了大家的好评,单从课堂听课老师和学生的满意的表情就不难看出。
二、充分的个人素质展示。本人上课情绪饱满,充满激情,常常与学生同欢笑,共忧愁。师生互动进行得很流畅。我上课运用全英语的课堂教学用语组织教学,给学生创设一个听英语、说英语的环境。总是不断地用Right,Good,Very good,Great,Wonderful,Excellent等鼓励的话激励学生开口说英语,充分调动学生说英语的积极性和表现欲望。
三、多种形式的教学。本课时主要是说和写教学,我利用精美的节日的图片,层层引导,让学生围绕图片进行描述。拟定话题,让学生小组讨论中西方节日的相同点和差异,然后选组长进行发言。最后过渡到小组写作,大家先讨论,然后选定小组长写。有了一定的知识作铺垫,学生在课堂上写起作文也游仞自如。再选几篇在课堂上让他们展示。

一、由于课堂时间有限,对于一些西方的节日,如印度的撒红节没能很详细地介绍给学生,中国的节日也未能让学生有更多的时间展开讨论。让学生感觉到,正是精彩的时刻就被打断了。
二、说话一环节和写作前的阅读,过渡有点牵强。往后在过渡语言组织方面要更加仔细的琢磨。尽量做到很流畅的让别人跟着你的思路往下走。
(七)课例评析
本案例设计符合新课标的指导思想,详细分析学生的实际情况和教材的特点,设定核心任务,制定出可行的教学目标和教学策略。从整堂课来看,教师备课充分,课件制作精美,利用图文并茂的多媒体辅助教学大大调动了学生的积极性,吸引了学生的学习兴趣。在教学中重点训练学生的听,说和写的能力,符合本节课的内容。教师还恰如其分的引导学生深入思考不同文化现象的内涵,培养学生在学会欣赏、包容异国文化的同时,加深对本土文化的认识和热爱。
英语公开课教学反思

我在高二(1)班上了一堂英语课。我执教的是新标准外研版第五册第四模块,此模块以“狂欢节”为话题,我把授课内容定设计为一节说话课和写作课。说话课主要是结合中国传统节日,介绍、学习西方的节日并引出狂欢节的有关内容。由于授课班级是重点班的学生,学生课堂气氛活跃,积极的发表他们的意见,展示出对本节课内容的喜爱,始终以饱满的精神状态贯穿于整节课。
回顾我上课的过程,收获不少,有成功之处,也有值得需改进的地方。
本节课我觉得满意的几点:

一节公开课的开展,留给我的不仅仅是上一堂课而已,留给我的有很多很多深思。静下来反思我们的教学实际,我们每一堂课都是这样准备充分的吗?每一堂课师生都这样充满激情吗?每一堂课都开展形式多样、扎实有效的训练的吗?我们应该多一些准备与思考,多一些精彩与完美,只有这样,才能让英语教学更顺畅的开展下去,学生们真正学到更多的知识!
