We are going to invite Betty to our class to give a speech in May,2008. She has lived in America for twenty years and has travelled around the world. She is friendly and outgoing. She knows America and American culture quite well, and she also knows about China and the world.
She was born in Wuxi. In 1987 she went to America and has lived there until now. She comes back to China once every few years. She is good at both Chinese and English. She studied biology in UC Berkeley in California from2003 to 2007. After graduation, she travelled around the world giving speeches and introducing Chinese and American cultures.
Step 3 Writing a biographical article
She likes travel and adventure. In 2007, she came to our school as a volunteer teacher to help us with our oral English and introduce American college life to us.
She will talk about studying in foreign countries, as many students are thinking about this. We are looking forward to her coming.
