Step 1: Presentation1.This lesson should be arranged in the afternoon.At the beginning of the class, teacher greets to Ss: Good afternoon!Ss: Good afternoon!Practise for several times.2.Use a clock to compare morning and afternoon. Ask Ss to read “Good afternoon!”3.Teacher greets to the whole class with “Good afternoon!”. Then to several students. After these, teacher shows a Teady Bear and talks with students: T: Good afternoon! XXX. This is Mr. Dog. S: Good afternoon! Teddy Bear. Nice to meet you. B: Nice to meet you, too. Teacher talks with one student and presents the sentence “ Nice to meet you, too.”T: I’m Teddy Bear. Nice to meet you.S1: Nice to meet you, too.Ask Ss to make a dialogue with Teady Bear and learn this sentence in the dialogue.Listen to the tape or look at the VCD of “Let’s talk”.
