一、指导思想: ? 本节课将采用新课标所提倡的“任务型教学”,以学案导学为特色,通过主动阅读,自主发展等环节,侧重提高学生通过英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题、解决问题的能力。
二、教材分析
1、教材简析:
这一单元的中心话题是“The Internet and Telecommunications”,介绍因特网和电讯的迅猛发展及其在现代交际中的作用。
这节课是本单元的第二节阅读训练课,讲述的是因特网及万维网兴起及发展历史。
2、教学目标
理论依据:高中英语课程标准
1). 语言知识目标:
文章中所出现的有关网络的词语、短语及常用的句型等。
2). 语言技能目标:
(1)发展学生听、说、读、写的基本技能,提高阅读技巧,培养总结概括及综合运用语言的能力;学习掌握科技性文章的阅读方法和技巧;
(2)能根据所读材料运用适当的语言回答问题并能进行简短的交流。
3). 文化意识与情感目标:
了解因特网的发展历史,学会客观,辩证地看待因特网,积极利用网络资源获取网络信息和处理有用信息,使其服务于自己的学习和生活。避免沉迷于网络而荒废学业,虚掷年华。
4)学习策略
在阅读、英语互动、完成任务过程中进行有效自我调控;通过各种途径获取相关信息,辨别并有效利用学习资源。
3、重点、难点:
(1)了解科技性文章的文体特点,并以此指导阅读;
(2)Skimming, scanning, careful reading等阅读微技能的培养与训练
(3)培养学生总结概括的能力,形成自己的观点并能用英文表达。
4、教学辅助工具: 多媒体。
三、学情分析:
高一的学生刚入学才两个多月,而我们实验中学的学生英语底子相对要弱一些,知识和能力方面都有待提高,所以我们的英语教学目标首先是定位于让学生记住生词或者短语、句型,然后在阅读的过程中分析和理解总结,并尝试用英文写作。对于大部分学生来说,英语还是相当难的一个学科,所以在教学过程中,激发学生的兴趣也极其重要,所以在课堂设计时也注意到提高课堂的趣味性。本单元内容是网络与电讯,与学生的实际生活有息息相关,容易联系实际,学生比较感兴趣。
四、教学策略:
本课时贯彻任务型教学理念,通过教师指导下的导学学案引领,学生主动阅读、自主发展为主线,各项任务环环相扣,步步推进,低台阶、高密度、循序渐进地展开课堂大舞台。让学生在教师引领、同伴互助下品味语言之美,养成良好的学习策略。
五、教学过程
1、 复习。使用多媒体复习本单元有关网络的词汇。
2、新课导入 通过有关网络的图片展示,师生互动,讨论问题 ( Do you like surfing the Internet? What can we do on the Internet? Here are some websites I often visit, do you know what www stands for?) 激发学生的学习兴趣,对后面文章的阅读做铺垫和准备。引出本章内容“The Internet”。
3、快速阅读
快速阅读是我们学生必须掌握但有欠缺的一项技能。为了让学生在有限的时间内在文章中找出他们所需要的信息,我们挑选使用了课本上几个比较简单的问题,以便让学生能够快速地找到答案。这一部分由学生个人自主完成。
4、仔细阅读;
这一过程是要求学生从不同层次来理解掌握文章内容,并能通过小组合作来完成学案上的内容。分层次给学生设计几个任务。让学生在“做”中学,在“学”中做,达到“学以致用”。
5、成果展示与交流。
选几个小组的代表在黑板上写出学案中1、3、5题的答案以展示他们的学案完成情况,师生合作对出现的问题共同分析,讨论解决。最后通过多媒体显示正确答案。
通过师生合作、生生合作,提高学生对于信息进行分类、理解和重组的能力,同时学生的语言智能在交流过程中得到发展。
6、 听力训练
要求学生不看课文仔细听录音,然后补充完整一篇根据所学文章改写的短文。这一环节在训练学生听力的基础上,进一步加深对课文的巩固。
7、分组讨论
由学生讨论话题What do you want to say to your friends who are addicted to (对……上瘾) Cyber bars?/ What can we do to take advantage of the Internet properly?
在学生讨论的过程中,产生批评与自我批评,从而开发学生自身的认识智能、人际交往智能以及语言智能,同时讨论也是学生对自己学习的一种检测。
