Valentine’s day is a special day that is celebrated on February 14. many people make or buy valentine cards to send to their friends and family. Some valentine cards are funny. Some are romantic. Most valentines are decorated with red hearts and say, “be my valentine.” Many people give their special friends or sweethearts candy, flowers, or other gifts on Valentine’s day Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day is always the fourth Thursday in November. Originally(起初,原来) this day was to give thanks for plentiful crops and to celebrate the fall harvest. Today people celebrate Thanksgiving with big turkey(火鸡) dinners and give thanks for all the good things that happened during the year. Many people go to special church services. Most people spend the day with their families.Father’s Day Father’s Day is always on the third Sunday in June. On this day, children and adults honor their fathers with greeting cards and gifts.
