1. 意义及结构:
1. It was May 13th yesterday.

板书以上例句,划出动词的过去式,让学生注意动词的变化.
2. 动词过去式的构成及读音
(1) 规划动词:a. play-played /d/ watch-watched /t/
b. dance-danced /t/ like-liked /t/
c. study-studied /d/ try-tried /d/
d. plan-planned /d/ stop-stopped /t/
(2) 不规则动词:am/is – was are – were can – could sing – sang
do/does – did have/has – had take - took
3. 用法:表示过去某时发生的动作或存在的状态,常与表示过去的时间状态连用.
(1) yesterday / yesterday morning / the day before yesterday
(2) ago / one year ago / two years ago / a moment ago
(3) last week / month / year / night / Monday
