3.认知不同国家及其首都的英语表达方式。

教具准备:多媒体、录音机(或直接作为声音文件导入)
教学重点及难点:1 知道并且会读世界上一些主要国家的首都名称(除课本中的也可适当拓宽些)。
2 另外,如倒过来也能让学生搭配,即:知道首都名称能说出:What country is it in?
3 由Comic Strip 谈论Eddie’s dream home , 再由同学自由发挥讨论这个开放性问题: Which country would you like to visit? & Why do you like to visit it?

引入: 由自己的照片自然引入本单元话题, 可先让学生猜测What city am I in?

(2)出示一张天安门的幻灯片并与学生进行交流,目的引出首都概念。(1min)
(3)让学生能说出幻灯片中的名胜属于哪个国家,然后再说出这个国家的首都。(以小组比赛形式比较有记忆效果)(3mins)
3.练习:(1)给学生提供一项配对练习,让学生将国家和首都进行配对。(1min)

He changed into his uniform.
They worked far into the night.
You will get into trouble if you do that.
“Into” can’t be replaced by “ in” in the above sentences.
