It was very kind of him to help the blind to go across the road. 他人真好, 帮助哪个盲人过了马路.

cooked 在这里是一个形容词, 修饰meat, 煮好的, 煮熟的. finely 是副词,修饰动词slice .这个句子是祈使句.祈使句用来表示请求,命令,劝告,建议等.祈使句的主语一般都是第二人称you. 但往往省略不用,祈使句的谓语动词一般用动词原形.祈使句的否定形式为 “Don’t +动词原形”, 也可以用never 开头,但never 不能与 not 同时使用,为使语气委婉,一般常在句首或句尾加上please.祈使句句末可用感叹号表示强调。比如: Don’t throw used paper everywhere. 不要到处乱扔废纸．

You need to add the rice slowly. 这两个句子当中的need 都是实意动词, 所以后面都跟不定式 to do sth.
