(which, who, whom, that, whose)Which引导的定语从句
1.The building which stands near the river is our school. 3.The room in which there are a lot of books is a reading room.
2.He has not found the pen which he lost last week.
b. Do you know the student to whom Jane is talking?(不能用who)a.The woman who lives next door is a teacher. Here is the money that/which will be given to you.
b. Do you know the boy (that/whom) you met yesterday?
关系代词whose的用法 whose经常后接名词,这结构可以用the+名词+of+whom/which来替换,意义不变。e.g. Workers built shelters for survivors whose homes had been destroyed.Workers built shelters for survivors the homes of whom had been destroyed.
e.g. The man (whom) I saw yesterday came again this morning.
{ There is a room in which you can study.
