性质：具有名词和动词的性质
在句子中的作用：作主语，宾语，表语
注意：大多数动名词都是不可数的，前面也不能加定冠词。
作主语 Watching English TV news is a good way to learn English.
It is boring playing piano all day. （用先行词it将动名词前置） 作宾语 （1）某些动词后：understand, enjoy, consider, delay, finish, imagine, avoid, suggest, dislike等。
E.g.: I remember doing the exercise.
I like swimming. 作宾语（2）某些短语后：look forward to, be used to, insist on, be interested in 等。
E.g.: I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
James suggested climbing to the top of the mountain.作宾语（3）介词后：by, for, without
E.g.: By watching the stars, exports can tell directions.
He left without saying goodbye to me. 作表语
My hobby is collecting stamps.
Her job is teaching.
