教学目标 Students will be able to :write a letter of application; use linking words expressing cause; make a short speech or an interview.
教学重点 使学生应用所学内容, 用正确的格式写出一封求职信; 运用所学的交际用语, 进行讲演, 表达个人的观点
课时分配 两课时:第一节: 写作课第二节: 听说课

Ss look at the underlined words in the letter and analyze the functions of the linking words.5. Stage1 Before writing1) Think of what personalities are suitable for the jobs. (committed, hard-working, reliable, determined, enthusiastic, creative, confident , motivated, co-operative, generous, emotional, patient, organised, logical, flexible…)2) Discuss what personalities aresuitable for the following job andhow to apply for the jobreporter for school news, reporter for community events, editor of language section, editor of sports section3.
