Section A
The main activities are 1,2a and 3a .
Ⅰ. Teaching aims and demands 教学目标
1.Learn some useful words and expressions:
kid, glad, seat, father, doctor, parent. office, worker, driver, farmer, cook, nurse.

2.Talk about inviting guests.
3.Review how to ask somebody’s personal information and the corresponding answers.
4.Master the following sentence patterns.

(2)Please have a seat.
(3)What does your mother do
(4)What do your parents do They are both office workers

Lead : 1.教师让同学们一起唱Topic 1中的 “the more we get together ”歌曲。Click “the more we get together” and play it’s swf. 并且用多媒体手段展示这首歌的动画制作品.(目的：激发学生兴趣，引入英语语境。）
Step 1 Review 第一步 复 习
1. Show a picture : Revise section B 1a dialogue of Unit 3 Topic 1 展示课文画片,并放录音复习.(再用动画制作放一次,引发兴趣,并表演出来)
3. Ask and answer between teacher and students. Revise some sentences.

Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈 现
1. Suppose the classroom is the teacher’s home. Put some chairs in the front. Invite some students home. Then practice the dialog with students. 并展示图片,
Learn and master the new words and phrase: glad , seat, have a seat.
In pairs :
T: Welcome to my home, kids! Glad to meet you.
Kids: Glad to meet you , too.
Let the students introduce each other, and review the following sentences.

2. Show a kid’s photo, a photo of Binbin’s family. Introduce it to the class. Learn and master the new words and phrase : kid , mother father , doctor, an office worker.
3. Show New Words , let the students master them.
4.Show a picture of Topic 2 Section A 1 , play mp3 录音. the students listen and after read it .then click the “play”, play 61.swf
5. Show a picture of Topic 2 Section A 2 a, play mp3 录音. the students listen and after read it .then click the “Butter ”, play 61-2.swf
6. Answer the questions.

Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 巩固
1.Listen to 1 and 2a again, follow the tape, and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
2.Let the students act 1 and 2a out in pairs.
3.Read 1 and 2a , complete the chart in 2b and then check the answers. Finish 2b.
4.Play 61-1 swf. Listen and Read 1 and 2a
Step4 Practice 第四步 练习
1.Work in groups. Invite your friends to your home, get several groups to act it out in the front, using the following sentences:

2.Ask and answer
3.Listen to 3a, then ask and answer in pairs. Finish 3a.
4.Work in pairs. Use the example in 3b to practice the dialog. Finish 3b.
5.Show some pictures. Let the students to practice.

Step 5 Project 第五步 综合探究活动（时间:9分钟）
1.Work in groups. Make a survey and complete the chart about parents’ occupations. Then let one student pick out a chart and ask other students to guess like this:
S1: They are S3’s parents. Guess! What do they do
S2: Is his father a teacher
S1: No, he isn’t. Guess again.
S2: What does he do
S1: He is a doctor.
