Step 2. Lead in创设情景,导入课题。(3 minutes)
多媒体课件展示雷锋,白求恩,姚明,周杰伦的图片,图片下面分别写: a famous solider, a famous doctor, a famous basketball player, a famous singer,学生学习生词famous ---著名的。讲解词组be famous for。再展示成龙和赵薇的图片,下面写a famous actor, a famous actress, 学生学习生词actor ---男演员,actress---女演员。与此同时,导入课题A Famous Friend?
Step 3. 提出任务,自主学习, 验收提高(30minutes)
(Task 1 Listening):听课文录音2遍,理解课文整体大意(6minutes)
就标题中的问号设疑,引起学生兴趣,让学生听录音,填空完成句子

出示三张教师自己的旧照片,婴儿,少年,以及成年之后做为教师和学生在一起的照片。

Thirteen years later, she was a middle school student. She wanted to be a doctor or a teacher.
Now she has been a teacher for fifteen years. She always says, “ I’m not famous, but I’m happy! Because I work hard and I am a useful person to other people.” You can’t see her face, but can you feel she is happy? Yes , she feels happy with her students. Do you know who she is?
