Teaching aims:
1、 掌握有关物品的新单词;
2、 熟练运用in, on, under等介词;
3、 熟练运用Where问句和一般疑问句及其回答;
4、掌握名词单复数及人称代词they的用法。

2、要求掌握以下单词:
(1)名词:table, bed, dresser, bookcase, sofa, chair, drawer, plant, bag, alarm clock, CD, video, video cassette, hat , etc;
(2)介词:in ,on, under;
(3)代词:they;
(4)副词:where.
教学重点、难点:
1.重点: a:方位介词的用法;
b:Where 的特殊疑问句和一般疑问句:
Is the… in/on/under the … 的肯定、否定回答;
2.难点:a. 能够准确运用方位介词描述物品所在的位置;
b.能够运用Where问句找到物品的位置。
第一课时Period One (Section A 1a-1c)
Teaching aims:
1、学会一些表示家具的名词以及学习用品的单词;
2、学会方位介词:in, on, under…的用法;
3、学会运用方位介词和Where句型表述物品的正确位置。
Language point:
1、 要求掌握以下句式:
a-------- Where’s …
--------It’s in/on/under…
b--------Where’re…
--------They’re in/on/under…
2、 要求掌握以下单词:where, table, bed, dresser, bookcase, sofa, chair, drawer, plant, in, on, under, they, they’re=they are.
难点:能够准确运用方位介词表达准确的物品位置。
Teaching steps:
1.Warming up and revision
(1) Daily greeting to the students:
T: Hello, may I have your name
S: My name is…
T: How are you
S: Fine, thanks.
T: Nice to meet you.
S: Nice to meet you, too.
(2)Revision:
T: What’s this in English
S: It’s a pen.
T: How do you spell it
S: P-E-N, pen.
T: What color is it
S: It’s red.
T: Good. Next, what’s that in English

2.Presentation:
Learn the new words. Do you want to know something in our bedroom
Now look at this picture, there are so many thing we should know. In this picture, this is a family: we have four people: a father, a mother, a son and daughter. Point to the things:
T: What’s this in English
S: It’s…(maybe should help the student to read)
T: There are some new words, now read after me…
3.Work on 1a
T: Now open your books to page19.look at section A 1a.look at the picture match the words with the thing in the picture. Then we will check.
4、Drill
Suppose you are the boy or the girl in the picture, this is your home. Look at the picture and answer my question. I will give you’re a letter and you must tell me this letter means which thing in your home. For example:
T: A.
S: Books.
T: Very good. Next…
5、Work on 1b
Listen and number the picture when you hear them. Then we will check your answers.
6、Introduce

第二课时Period Two (Section A 2a-4)
Teaching aims:
1、熟练运用一些表示家具的名词以及学习用品的单词;
2、能够运用方位介词和Where句型表述物品的正确位置。
Language point:
1、 要求掌握以下句式:
---------Is the base ball on the sofa
---------No, it isn’t. It’s under the chair.
2、要求掌握以下单词:know, math, bag, alarm clock, CD, video, tape, hat, take.
Teaching steps:
1 Warming up and revision
Daily greeting to the students:
2 Revision:
I have a new room. “ What’s in my room ”I will show you a picture of my room, and you tell me the thing, and you should spell it.
T: What’s this
S: Bookcase, B-O-O-K-C-A-S-E.
The teacher write the words on the black. Add the prepositions:near, behind, between, next to
3.Fill in the blanks according to the picture.Check the answers.
4. A forgetful boyusually forgets things. Work in pairs.
5.Listen and number
Work on 2a. Revise what the things are, then I will play the tape for you and you should number the things you hear.
6.Work on 2b.
Listen again. This time when you listen you should repeat once more. Then we will check the answers.
7.A guessing game:
Show a picture and ask “ Where’s the clock ” Present “I don’t know. Is it… ”Get the students to guess. Then ask the students to make new conversations. Repeat with the plural forms. Work in pairs again.
8.Complete the dialoguein 3a. Read the dialogue.
9.Find the differences between two pictures.
10.Do extra exercises.
11.Home work
Oral work: listen to 2a, read and recite it.
Written work: Do your exercise book.
第三课时Period Three (Section A 3a-4, SectionB1a-2b)
Teaching aims:
1、能运用目标语言来描述房间;
2、能正确的描述物品的方位。
Language point:
1. 要求掌握以下句式:
The keys are in the drawer.
2. 要求掌握以下单词:Alarm clock; video cassette; CD; math book; computer game。
Teaching steps:
1. Warming up and revision
Daily greeting to the students:
2.Revision:
Show pictures to revise the prepositions.
(1) A: Where’s the… B: It’s…
(2)A: Where are the… B: They are….
Add “between/ behind/ next to/ near.”
3.New words learning
Show pictures again. Ask “ What’s this in English Is it…. ” “ What are these Are they… ” Teach the new words: alarm clock; video tape; CD; math book; computer game.
4.Work on 3a
Put these sentences in order to make a conversation. Practice the conversation in the picture above.
5.Work on section B 1a
Look at the picture, how do you think about it I think it’s untidy. How about you room Do you always clean it Anyway now let do section B 1a. Then we will check the answer.
6.work on 2a.
Tommy needs some things I his room this afternoon. So he calls his mother and asks his mother to bring the things to school.Listen and circle the words.
7.work on 2b
Listen to the tape again and finf out where the things are.

1、熟练运用表示家具的名词以及学习用品的单词;
2、能设计自己理想的房间并运用所学知识来描述房间
Language point:
1. 要求掌握以下句式:
I need some thing for class this afternoon
Can you bring some things to school
2. 要求掌握以下单词:can, bring ,take, need, etc.
Teaching steps:
1. Chant to revise “where is… And where are… ”(p1)
2. Show pictures to grasp other prepositions: near, next to and between.(p3-p5)
3. Play a guessing game: Where’s…/ where are… Ask the students to use “Is it… / Are they… ” to guess where the thngs are.(p6)
4. Show a room and ask them to introduce the things in the room.(p7)
5. show Tommy’s room and revise Section B 2a.Practise in pairs.(p8-p9)
6. Work on Section B 3a
First of all,tell the students something about the letter,get the students to listen to the tape and find where the things are. Check the answers. Read and fillin the blanks according to the letter. When you finished put up your hands, and let me know.(p10-12)
7.Work on Section B 3b
Say “ This is Chen Yang’s room.” Talk about the room first, then ask the students to try to do 3b, look at the picture and fill in the blanks. Check the answers.(p13-14)
8.Write a note
Show a picture and ask the students to write a similar note.
9.If time permits, Find the differences between two pictures.
