Teaching aims:
1. To learn new language: today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow.
What’s today It’s Monday the13th.
2. To communicate each other about the daily life, according to invitations (to accept or decline).
3. To be able to arrange your schedule.
Important and difficult points:
1. To use the words and the target language freely in the daily life.
2. To make your own schedule.
Teaching tools: Multimedia, tape recorder, blackboard
Teaching steps:
Step1. warm-up
1. Enjoy a song “ Days of a week”
2. Enjoy a chant
(给学生提供一个轻松、快乐的环境,有助于学生能全身心投入进课堂,提高课堂的效率。)
Step2. Present the target language
1. Let’s ask and answer
T: What day is it today /What’s the date today /What’s today
(通过这几个问题的提问,学生能很清晰地理解目标语言的意义,并能正确地去使用)

(通过上面这个环节的学习,让学生在这个环节里能自如地运用,使其逐渐转化为自己的知识)

(这是个写的环节,通过上面两个环节的学习,要求学生在这个环节里能掌握这些单词的正确书写,同时老师还要求学生在相互问答的情况下写下这些日期的。体现了语言的综合运用)

(这个环节主要是锻炼学生的听力,让学生在听的过程中能把握整体信息,同时也培养了学生一种听的技能。最后让学生以第三人称的形式进行语言的简单输出,有助于班内尖子生的培养。)

(这是书本2c的部分,不过我给学生的对话是在书本的基础上,更贴近生活化,给学生尽可能创造一个真实的语境)

1. Arrange your schedule
T: Andy can’t play tennis with Vince, what about you Please arrange your schedule, then decide on which day you can play tennis with Andy.
(这个环节的设计其实主要使Andy找朋友打网球的线能够继续持续下去,并且也把这个绣球抛给了在坐的学生,让他们去完成此任务,最后统计以下哪些学生能够去和Andy打网球。同时也引出思想教育。)
2. Let’ listen and fill in the blanks.
T: Some students can play tennis with Andy. But Anna can’t, because I am busy, too. So I am sending an e-mail to Andy and tell him my schedule. Please listen and fill in the blanks.
(这是个语篇输出的过程,让学生在听的过程中进行书写,同时也让学生掌握写邮件的方法,有助于学生写作水平的提高。同时也为下面作业的环节做好了铺垫。)

(这个环节既活跃了气氛,又掌握了知识,同时又对学生进行了思想教育)
