Step 1 warming up
Step 2 Structure
Predicting
Skimming
Draw out the idea map of structure
Step 3 Scanning
Predicting
Scanning
Step 4 Careful reading
1.What’s the meaning of the underlined word in the following sentence: The first person to use perspective in his paintings was Masaccio.
2. It can be inferred from the passage that____.
A.Painters in the Middle Ages painted mainly religious subjects.
B.Impressionists painted their pictures mainly outdoors.
C.At first people did not like the impressionists’ paintings.
D.The longtime ruling of Confucianism(儒家思想) leads to the less changing of Chinese art.
3. What’s the attitude of the writer?
A.Negative B. Positive C. Subjective D. neutral
Step 5 Reading Tip
Step 6 The best salesman
