删除：把多余的词用斜线（\）划掉。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏字符号（∧），并在其下面写上该加的词。
修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写上修改后的词。
注意：1 每处错误及其修改均仅限一词；
2 只允许修改10处，多者（从第11处起）不计分。

About 70 million American are trying to lose weight., That’s almost one out of three in the United States. Some ate less of certain foods, especially fat and sugar. Others are exercise, take medicine or even have operations. Lose weight is not easy, and it can also costs a lot of money. But why many people in the US want to lose their weight Many people worry about not looking young and pretty. Other people worry about his health. Many doctors say putting too much weight is not health. Almost 30 million people weigh at least 20 percent much than their usual weight.

I’m very glad to hear you are coming to visit me the next Friday. Unfortunately, I won’t able to meet you at the airport although I have classes in the afternoon. One hundred and twenty students take the exam for it， but only a few were chosen and I was one of them. Therefore，my parents are not happy about it. They are strong against my going there. They say it is too far away that they will not see me for a whole year and they are afraid that I will feel alone. They can’t imagine a girl so young live alone. They advise me to study in the capital instead. Then I’ll be able to continue living with them.
How can I make them accept the fact that I have grown

One day I took several pairs of shoes to a shoemaker to be mending. A week later I got them back and put them away. Four months after that， I invited to dinner. I took a pair of shoes I hadn’t worn them since they were repaired. I put one shoe on my right foot， and the others on my left. But it felt as if it was on the wrong feet. I took both shoes off for a closer look. They were exact the same design， color， or size， and each is for the right foot. Then I thought of the shoemaker. Though I was sure he wouldn’t remember me in such a long time， I called him. “Thank goodness， you finally called!”he said excited.
“The angry woman has been troubling me for months.”

Now I have taken more than ten years at school. As a child， I regarded the school a beautiful garden. I went to school happily and excited with a small bag. Time flew very fast. Now I’m studying at a senior middle school.
Every day morning I go to school early. At class I enjoy the lessons of every teachers very much. In the evening，I do a lot of exercise， just like a farmer working hard， expect a good harvest. During breaks between class， I often go out to enjoy myself. I’m sure I’ll never forget wonderful time I spent at school.

The postman usually put the newspaper at the door. One morning when I opened the door to get the newspaper and was so surprising to see a strange little dog with our paper in his mouth. Such pleased with this unexpected “delivery service”， I feed him with some bread and meat. The following morning I was frightened to see same dog sit in front of our door， wagging（摇动） his tail，with eight newspaper around him. It was surprising that a dog could learn so quick. But I had to spend the rest of that morning returned the papers to their owners.
