Teaching course(教学过程)
Step 1 Guiding
I have a new mobile phone. Here it is! It looks very nice. Do you think so It has the camera. I can take videos with it! Can you use it to take videos If you can’t, follow me. Maybe today this lesson will help you.
Step 2 Show the teaching aims

Step 5 Listen and read
Ⅰ Listen to the dialogue and answer the questions.
1. Are they talking about a video camera or a CD recorder
2. Are they looking at the instructions or talking
ⅡRead the conversation again and ask the students to complete the answers individually, then check with a partner. Call back the answers from the whole class, having one student ask a question and another answer it.
Ⅲ Additional activity
Ask the students to get into groups of five. Ask them to read the conversation in character, then swap roles and repeat three times.
Ⅳ Learn after listening
Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words.
Model: If you want (want) to know how it works, read (read) the instructions.

[点拨] 当if引导宾语从句时,译为“是否”,此时从句时态随主句时态而变化。 当主句为祈使句时,if引导的条件状语从句通常要用一般现在时。
Step 6 Practise
Ask the students to complete the table individually, then check with a partner. Call back the answers from the whole class, complete a table on the board as they answer.
Ask the students to work in pairs to do the same with the other instructions. They should do it twice through, changing roles.
Step 7 Pronunciaton and speaking
Ⅰ Listen and repeat
Play the recording while they follow. Play it again, pausing for them to repeat the sense groups.
Ⅱ Speak and act
Show the object or pictures to them, let them choose a piece of technology. Discuss in groups.Then make a dialogue to explain how to use it.
