It needs a lot of light. It needs water, too.
Step 3: Presentation
Draw a table on the board with three columns. Write a different experiment in each: a little water once a day, a lot of water once a week, a little water once a month. Draw three pot plants. (or show the PPT)
Tell the pupils an experiment is when we change something to see what happens. Ask the pupils to look at the board and tell what is changed in each experiment.
Tell the pupils to guess what will happen.
What will the plants be like? Will they be big and tall? Or will they be short and small? And ask student to come to the blackboard to draw the plants.

Step1: revision
Enjoy some beautiful pictures of plants. Are they beautiful? Do you want to a plant? How to grow a plant? What do we need? How dose it grow?
Step2: presentation
Bring a seed to the classroom. What’s that? What will the seed be when plant it into soil? It will become a flower. Do you know how can a seed grow into a flower? Look at the TV programme: There will be a TV show about flowers tonight. Let’s watch it. It’s at 7 pm.
Step 3: new lesson
1.Let the students watch the CAI about how a seed grows into a flower.
2.Ask them some questions about the programme: What will happen after a plant grows? What will come to the flower? What will the flower make? What will happen to the seed? Let them watch the CAI again with the questions.
Step 4: Practice
1.Ask students to talk about how a seed grows with the help of pictures (step by step).(PPT)
