三、Presentation:
1. Invite several students to come to the front and make an introduction about one of his classmates’ hobbies.
e.g: Mary is my classmate. She’s 12 years old. She likes playing chess. She can play very well. She doesn’t like playing the piano.
2. Then the teacher questions:

S: Because it’s fun.
2. The teacher makes an introduction about herself:
e.g: I like listening to CDs and watching TV. They are very fun. I don’t like fishing or shopping. They are boring. Those are my hobbies. What are your hobbies??
3. Guide the students to say like that.
4. Play a game: The teacher shows some cards which are written some hobbies on them. Then let one of the students come and get a card. The student must try do describe the hobbies but not say out it directly. The other students guess what hobby it is.
5. Open the books and listen to the tape. Then try to finish B3.

2. Show some pictures to the students. Then let them talk about the picture to make up a short story.
三、Presentation:
1. Learn the sounds / i / and / i: /. Pay attention to the differences between these two sounds.
2. Learn to say the rhyme.
3. Get the students to do a survey on page 6. Then complete the blanks on page 7. After that make a report about your survey.
4. Listen to the tape and try to chant while finishing the blanks on page8.
5. Get the students to know about the money in different countries. We can also introduce some other countries’ money. Such as Chinese “yuan” and Japanese money.
四、Homework:
Surf the Internet and try to find some information about different countries’ stamps or money.
