Step1 Introduction
1. Lead-in
Use a cigarette to lead-in the topic . Then play a video or dhow them some pictures about the bad results that smoking caused

Ask the students to read facts about smoking and choose the answers you think are correct. P.11.EX1
After they decide on the answers individually, they can check with a partner. Then the teacter may collect the answers in a whole class setting, having the students read out the complete sentences.
3. Activity 2
Get the students to finish the blanks
Step2 Speaking
Make sure the students understand the questions and then ask them to discuss them in pairs. If time permits, ask some pairs to present their discussions.
Step3 Writing

Ask the students to read through the email quickly to choose the correct subject for the email . Then collect the answers from the whole class.

Ask the students to read the email carefully and answer questions in the email individually.
Ask similar questions to the writer Paul. The students can exchange their work each other. If possible, let some students read out their emails.
Step 4 Summary and Homework
Summarizes the knowledge they have learned in this lesson and then gives the students assignment. Ask the students to hand in their emails after class.

Now it’s time for listening. First , ask the students to read through the five questions in activity 2.And keep the information in mind. After listening ,answer the questions.
After the students get the answers to the questions, play the tape again for then to check the answers. Then ask some of them to give their answers and explain their answers.

Make sure the students know the four feelings. Then play the recorder while they are listening
Collect the answers , having the students say the sentences in the correct way. And ask them to create a situation where the speaker feels this way.

In this period , we practice listening and use different intonations to express different feelings .We also learn to show different level of agreement and disagreement by using different expressions. Today’s homework is to finish exercises on workbook.
