（1）语言目标：描写人的外表。

重难点：熟练运用词汇描写人的外表。

教学过程：
Step 1 Revision & leading-in
Briefly review some key words & language points leaned in Previous units, then, write the title of this unit is “what does he look like ”
Step 2 Presentation ( Section A 1a ～1b)
1. Ask Ss to look at the picture 1a & teach the Ss to practice reading the words for describing people.
2. Then ask Ss to match the pictures with words from the list.
3. Play the tape & Ss to fill in the blanks.
4. Check the answer.
Step 3 Practice
1. Point out the sample conversation & ask two Ss to read the conversation to the class.
2. Ask different Ss to describe their friends & the rest to find them.
Step 4 listening (2a, 2b)
1. Play the recording the first time, student only listen.
2. Play the recording a second time. This time students listen & complete the questions.
3. Check the answers.
Step 5 3
1. Get Ss to do activity individually.
2. Check the answers by asking two Ss to read their completed conversation.
Step 6 Grammar Focus
1. Let Ss read the questions & answers in pairs. At the same time, write them on the blackboard.
2. Explain the following to the Ss.
